I've looked over the abilities of BW's and I really don't see how they can't not get away from a Witch Elf in tier 3/4. Immolation seems to be the best tree. A 3 second knockdown that only eats up a 0 cooldown-insta cast dot, a channeled 40% snare dot, combined with the 1-2 seconds you will buy yourself from the instacast root.
I just started up a witch elf recently, too, and I like it because, god damn, I can solo and actually KILL SHIT. Unlike my shaman or squig herder.

That got fixed weeks ago.

Population seems balanced though, just that Destruction side the guilds seem bigger and more organized, and just stomp Order flat since it isn't as organized and has more unguilded/PUG people.

Was gonna make my Order character on Volkmar, but I have friends on DC too, might have to check that out if the experience bonus applies to that server.
Destruction had really been mopping up in T1 and T2, and over the past couple of days, I'm pretty sure they started plowing into T3, and Order has finally gained some ground in Ekrund.
Was pretty fucked up. T1, T2, and T3 Empire vs Chaos zones were all under Destruction control, T1 and T2 Dwarf vs Greenskins and T1 and T2 Dark Elf vs High Elf areas were under Destruction control as well.
The big players for Order are already in T4 I think (and are doing well since they have no competition), but I think that will change as whatever guilds are currently moving through T2 into T3 catch up.
As I said earlier. Lots of cowardly DPS on Order side, and tanks and healers that want to play DPS rather than charging into enemies or healing. It's implemented on servers with imbalances in population between Order and Destruction. The side with the lower population gets a 20% bonus to experience and Renown. Specific details here. It appears to be limited to Bechafen and Ungrim Order for the moment.

Looks like patches reset zone control.
That being said, the meters are mostly filled with red currently, but I won't be able to say what's going on exactly until a couple of days have passed to allow things to restabilize.

Elixir of Insane Power is balls awesome, since you will be hitting for a minimum of 30% more damage on most targets for those 7 seconds.
