Only thing really OP about Order is that Ironbreaker gets a knockback before any other class. Granted, it's a tanking class so it's supposed to be for getting grandmas off you, but way too many use it as an offensive throw.

I've seen rank 11 Ironbreakers in Nordenwatch that can weather the combined fire of five or six DPS classes unhealed long enough for reinforcements from respawn to come to his aid.

At the Fortress.

Even playing Order in beta I never saw Chosen do anything that ridiculous -- and never mind how ridiculously hard it is to kill a Warrior Priest or Runepriest without the combined fire or two or three DPS classes. Zealots and Doks don't even compare.

I'm herding my way out of tier 1 tonight - or tomorrow morning, I'm not sure how tired I am - and cannot wait.

What server are you playing on. I have never seen a BW kill that much let alone that many BW in one senerio. I didnt even see on Shadow Warrior.

Different servers different results.

I, too, love having to play my ass off to simply be on a comparable level with a blind retarded monkey playing a real class.

If my Herder weren't approaching 16 already I'd have fucking rerolled by now.

I love the feeling of invincibility that comes with tanking for a good group. Then again, I seem to be the only Black Orc in existence who chooses to use a shield.

That's my theory, as it was with the Warlock at the start of WoW. Pet classes are notoriously hard to balance and make enjoyable. And the only reason people like you and I can play a squigger effectively is because we know how to do it. I'm confident Mythic will balance things. And if not, I'll just switch classes.

I had tons of fun with squig herders during the open beta. Then again, that was only to level 10, and I didn't do much RvR.

The current thought is that a lot of Order classes were buffed to compensate for the fact that there's less of them.

We have no mirror for the Ironbreaker, for example, and it's the most capable tank in the game.

The Bright Wizard tends to combust far less than a sorceress backlashes.

The Swordmaster doesn't randomly lose abilities.

The Witch Hunter's buffs last longer.

For all that, however, I find they still can't play worth a damn. Order doesn't ever come out to fight unless the odds are overwhelmingly in their favor on our server. They have the patience of saints, just waiting for enough people to leave until they outnumber us 3:1, then they strike.

And God forbid you catch them flagged and running around. They'll run to the nearest NPCs with complete disregard for level or class balance. I've chased them all over Barak Varr as they tried to escape me.

Once the classes are balanced and we get our Blackguard, they're in for some shit.

If the class wasn't at least enjoyable, I'd not be playing it. However, at this point, it has a ways to go balance wise.

I have yet to play on a server where Order isn't absolutely trampling Chaos in RVR.

That's all well and good at the level cap, but the Witch Elf is the only class that gets a healing debuff in tier 1.

Witch Hunters do not get theirs until level 35.

I'm amazed at the fact no one realizes you can use the bolt throwers / cannons / whatevs near the RvR warcamps. There's been many a time where I've had a group that chases a group of Order players back to their camp, waiting just out of range of the guards for them to muster enough guts to charge. They never do, but they also never realize that if they got on one of the bolt throwers they could demolish us all.

Yeah. Last night, we had a black orc, shaman and me beating on a warrior priest that was like a level or two below us.

We couldn't manage to kill him.

Guessing this will balance out as classes get mortal strike-like abilities.

I do really want to try this game but so can't justify spending cash on it right now with the house and crap... but may be for the best since it clearly needs some tweaking (And, well, classes) so when I do eventually get it... it will be for the better! (I hope)

Order's chief weakness is that they are the Alliance all over again. It's ridiculously easy to manipulate them.

We ran Stone Troll Crossing today. Frequently, when the pacifier was reset, they'd sit there wailing on me while someone else grabbed the flag and ran it around, netting more points for Destruction.

The fact that their classes are all high damage tends to make them rather sloppy, basically making them focus only on topping charts while we run roughshot over the objective.
