I share my cover op secret!

It's a secret, I'm a covert op.
But you can share abilities between classes. That is all.

I usually work as a team, when my team is willing to work with me. If I try to get help from them, and they don't help, I just try to do it all myself. Last game I just played with Skaw and Freedan and Ktegran (Sp?) and one other guy, was wicked. Skaw always kept me armed, we worked well together for the last two round. I screwed up on the Battery because I didn't think Nem had a uniform, so I let him be at the back door, that was my badio. I think we won the rest though.

Fun time guys!

You know what I love?

Level 4 engineer + Level 4 field ops + Solder. You've got a 50% reduction in explosive damage, you've got the ability to identify an enemy instantly (Even disguised enemies), and if you have the MG42 you can kill almost anything instantly

Or Level 4 soldier and Covert Ops; your STEN will be able to fire 24 shots before it overheats.

By the way guys... if you're having problems with being rushed by covert ops, I was just informed of this little trick.

Prime a grenade when you face the covert ops.

When he kills you, your grenade drops down and does one of two things.

Either A) It blows up your corpse and robs him of the chance to disguise himself as you, or B) It blows him up AND your corpse when he rushes to the corpse to disguise himself as you.

Either way it pisses off Covert ops to no end

Me and Nem also made a pile of landmines, and started crawling back and forth overtop of them. So.. yeah, you can transfer bodies over mines...

Level 2 soldier gets the cooldown ability, and you can fire the sten non-stop before reloading.

God, that last game was sick. I got up around 820 XP, max medic, max battle sense, max light weapons, and almost maxed engineering.

Except that everyone on my team was an engineer so I guess that isn't important

I dunno why people bitch about the panzer so much.

I was doing 2-3 times as good with my MG42 as I was with the panzer. I'd kill 3-4 people in a row sometimes, and SERIOUSLY hurt the others, AND still have 100 bullets left for the next time someone poked their head out.

I'd bet you anything that 2 soldiers with level 2 cooldown could hold the bank vault forever if they had MG42's. One fires, one waits. When the first stops firing, the second starts, when the second stops, the first starts. Keep one field op going between the two rearming them and you have nothing but bullets, non stop.

Let's see people do that with the panzer

Rifle grenade.

Your thought, is a common tactic in the bank. It is a good one, until the Engineer runs up. And its not like there wont be Engineers on that map.

Kinda like trying to MG42 the anti-tank guns in Oasis.. It works, til your get bitched with a nade.

If you were positioned just right on the desk, the only way an engineer would be able to bank the grenade in just right would be to run into the line of fire.

Same with a panzer. Now, once the engineer/soldier sacrificed themselves to get that panzer or rifle 'nade off, then the rest of the team could get in and do the rest, but that requires more teamwork than I've ever seen on the EC server.

I'm thinking that if you die within x feet of your spawn point (givin that it's noncappable) you should get 0 to 10 seconds off the spawn timer, relative to how long you lived after spawning.

Also, vehicle repairs should be changed dramatically.

I caused Nem to kill himself by not tapping until he ran by the mine my dead body was sitting on. He gunned me down because if I moved, I would've died anyway, and my medic-reach-out body was covering the mine nicely.

I always found it odd that you're light as a feather when you're fully dead, as far as mines go.

We were playing railgun (As axis, I think) when two allies came over the railing of the stairs at the track switch. Another person died and got thrown onto a mine, but hadn't tapped out. I shot at HIM, making him release, and blowing the mine, sending the two allies flying to their death.

Thats cause mines only go off if you move onto them then off again. If you stop dead right when you hear the click of the mine being armed, it won't blow up cause you're holding down the trigger mechanism. An engineer could disarm one but the rest of use just blow up

Oh? Why's that?

Almost all of the grenades thrown will land on the floor, and the desk itself will give you a good amount of protection from them, not to mention it makes you much harder to hit with the panzer as the desk isn't near any of the walls.

The gold itself makes you a more difficult target to see, as only half of you (If that) is visible from the front, making it easy for people to overlook you. I've killed dozens of people in pubs and on EC ET this way, and rarely die.

What Delphi is saying is that the person was on the mine but not tapped out, but the second the person was killed FULLY, the mine went off, despite the fact that he had not moved off the mine.

If you hold a grenade for three or four clicks then throw it, more often than not, it'll explode in midair. That makes it relatively easy to hit the desk, OR, if I have problems getting you off the desk, I'll come in with a panzer.

The desk is obviously the easiest target to hit in the bank room.
