Rail gun was definately a very good game. we kept the Axis from getting the 1st tug back, and as soon as Skaw came in, it got REALLY close.

Wow, that looked like a small game. Most games I play (5 people / team) have 600+ points by the end of 3 maps, let alone 4.

Sorta. The information on the clip size is off, because both guns have the same clip size. BUT, the info about the damage and speed on the guns seems right. As far as I can tell, the MP40 does shoot faster than the Thompson, but the Thompson does more damage.
I started a server. I spawned as an axis Engineer with an MP40.
Terena spawned as an allied engineer with a Thompson.
I shot her once in the chest. She shot me once in the chest. We compared HP : Both of us had 82 HP. Both guns deal equal damage.
We died and respawned with the K43 and the Garand. Once again, one shot to the chest, each of us did it. We compared HP : Both of us had 66 HP. Once again, both guns did equal damage.

Danke, but I'm already 41% in, and I feel stupid, because after I posted, I went back to read through the thread again, and I saw about the server.
Anyone have any tips for Covert Ops other than what's already been posted here?

Last game I managed to be twice as useful; I'd spot the mines outside the fuel depot, rush in and blow the mines and the fortifications with a satchel charge, then Drys rushed in and blew the depot. The whole team (All 4 of us ) was working together and nobody went rambo-bunnyhopping off. We kicked ass.

Yeah. If you stop firing it cools down pretty dang quick. Going full auto until it overheats only let's you get 16 bullets out, though.
