And open RVR, should I care about this? I have a shitload of quests for it but nobody ever seems to organize.
Open RvR in T1/T2 is pretty pointless. You'll see more people do it in T3, though that's largely because everyone is already in the same area anyway to do Tor Anroc. In T4 it'll become important though.
I think this was the largest battle to date. Order took the lead taking both keeps first then all the objectives all while fighting back and forth between warcamps. Fighting was pretty much back and forth till Destro called in reinforcements and they pushed us back to the Ostland keep and then finally taking it over with a mass zerg and over ran ours.
Was the most fun I have had since launch.
We do PQ's on our server. Most of the T1 are vacant because everyone just goes to T2.. We do activly roll up on PQ groups for RVR battles (both sides)
Only bad thing about open servers is that you cant even go back to a lower level zone with out turning into a chicken. I am not sure if this is the same on all servers. Once you hit 22, dont bother going back home.

Only on open servers. On others, the chicken only takes effect if you go into a RvR area or get yourself flagged.

Antialiasing mode should be "override any game setting" and Antialiasing Transparency MUST be set to Multisampling.

I told you so, it's just the profile creation that stabilizes the whole mess. It so happens that higher end cards can actually run FSAA once everything is stable.
I say go with the other one.

WAR is similar to WoW in the way that a Boeing 757 is similar to a Ferrari Enzo. They both have seats and wheels and go very fast, but they do it with wildly different mechanisms.
I guess if you're tired of MMO's where you make a character and get equipment, then yeah you might be sick of WAR too, but the similarities kinda end there.

The PVE, in my opinion, is almost 100% identical.
Whats is different.. EQ, shadowbane, DAoC, all have been the same to me. Maybe differnt ways loot drops and agro issues, but pretty much all the same.

You should by the game and play on an open server if you want to PVP.. and there is alot of it. Or play on a core server if you want PVP when you want to PVP and all the quest and ingame hidden unlocks.

You get gear questing
you get gear killing mobs
you get gear maxing out influence (killing mobs in a specific area)
you can buy renown gear
you can buy gear in an auction house that people have gotten how ever.
you get gear killing other players. They dont drop thier items just random items.
PVP is this games bread an butter. I have heard this game referred to as WOW and as SB. It all depends on what you played.

I'm talking only of my PvE experience so far, which is almost identical to WoW. PvP is a very important part of WAR,and what makes WAR different from WoW, I'm not denying that.

Okay, I set Anisotropic filtering to 16x, Antialiasing - Gamma Correction to On, Antialiasing Mode to Override any game setting," and Antialiasing - Transparency to Multisampling.
What about Antialiasing - Setting? The bottom of the list is 16xQ, but I've gotta be honest. Video drivers, a pro I ain't.
Because I did all of the above, and set that one to 16xQ, and my video actually got worse.
