Just bear in mind that if you look during the daytime for the next week or so, you probably won't get in. The site is SERIOUSLY overloaded due to all of the people who just got the game and want information.
"Hey, I see you got blue! I got red. Wanna trade?"
"Sure. You got a link cable"
"Nah. You?"
"Nah. Later."
"Later."

They're all over the fucking place.
It's not that hard.

Note to self: Pikachu breed quickly.
Mental note 2: Pichu hatch quickly. (Amazing how there just happens to be a seriously long stretch of empty road to ride up and down in front of the day care...)
Mental note 3: Might wanna be a little fussier about the father, because I hatched two Pichu that don't have offensive moves - They have Charm, Tail Whip, Thunder Wave, and Double Team.
Mental note 4: Pichu don't learn any Electric attacks until they evolve.
It needs a bit of leveling up though.
Anyway... I fell into the old timesink known as the Breeding Center. My male Pikachu finally learned Thunderbolt, and thanks to the Move Deleter, my two Pikachu make baby Pichus that hatch with Charm, Thunder Wave, Thunder Shock, and Thunderbolt.
I also managed to snag two Glameows this afternoon (found on Route 218 at night my foot); which I traded on GTS for male and female Stunkys. I hate boosted EXP, so if I wanna raise a Pokemon, I hatch one and start from scratch.

Why do you hate boosted XP? Unless you are overleveled(or really early in game), being from another trainer isn't an issue with the badges. It just saves a lot of time.

There was much rejoicing when Skaw said this:
Are there any new berry made food combinations? And have they made it so that Berries grow trees faster, given the online battling?
Berries make a new food completely, but I haven't messed with it yet.
Oh, and honestly I don't know how you fags can stand breeding so much. Walking back and forth with eggs in tow is not exactly my idea of fun. Mr. Gainsborough fucked around with this message on 04-26-2007 at 12:53 AM.

Quit slacking. Or I'll just figure it out after I pick it up Friday.
And yes, Breeding is boring as fuck.

Hopefully I'll get a Rare Candy dispensing Zigzagoon like I did in Sapphire.

Also, does anyone know how the Sweet Honey Trees work? I know you spread honey on them and -eventually- it attracts things but how long do you need to wait before it does?
Anybody know where I can catch or be given one?

Because doing the box trick in Red/Blue/Yellow/Stadium was annoying after a while, even at Dodrio speed in Stadium.
Anyway, I've five badges, but my team only goes from 26 to 36, but I wouldn't mind trying out my Nintendo DS headset if anyone's got a comparable team.
Edit: Honey trees? Half a day, apparently.
Breeding and hatching annoying? The very right most edge of the vertical road going past the day care center is just perfect for running your bike up and down in fourth gear over and over... once you clear the trainer battles out. That's what I use. Mightion Defensor fucked around with this message on 04-26-2007 at 01:55 AM.

I'm having trouble tracking down where to find an Eevee. Umbreon is my favourite pokemon, so I's itchin' to get one...Anybody know where I can catch or be given one?
I know I have at least one of the evolutions on one of the gba games I have. I'll start breeding 'em tomorrow as there's like 7 Eevees now that I gotta get anyways.
Can't use Pal Park more than once a day and it does detect people fucking around with the DS's clock.

Everything I've found says you have to get the National Pokedex and Pal Park to Xfer from an older game, or capture on the rare chance from the Trophy Garden, or from some Girl in Hearthome after beating the Elite Four (And getting National Dex)first.
Which means you have to beat the whole damn game first. SAD! Can't even use the GTS unless you've actually SEEN it first, which again, means beating the whole damn game. Faelynn LeAndris fucked around with this message on 04-26-2007 at 04:45 AM.

Yer the only person I know on here... The Rabid MiniVan driver from hell.
I haven't gotten to breeding yet, I not even sure how it works since it wasn't a feature in the originals.
I've got a Ponyta now though so thats nice. Although, Ponyta was semi rare in the original Blue... I'm almost sick of seeing them now. Still love mine though... Oh, and fucking Zubats, so sick of the damn Zubats, annoying little shits and they are EVERYWHERE!!!
If you DID choose Chimchar... Breed Monferno with Fire Wheel with a Ponyta. You'll get a Ponyta that'll kill ANYTHING that's weak against fire for most of the game.

I've used the GTS (traded some Glameows for some Stunkys) and I haven't beaten the game... I'll probably use it in a little bit looking to trade for a Murkrow.
Pal Park <> GTS. The GTS is in Jubilife City. Directly West of the Pokemon Center.

He's talking about getting Eevee using GTS, which DOES mean he has to beat the game first. Or convince someone who has beaten it to trade with him. (In a minute. I'm busy hatching Munchlaxes. I got 4 on the way if anyone is interested.) Mr. Gainsborough fucked around with this message on 04-26-2007 at 02:29 PM.
Well, I offered my level 11 Misdreavus, if any Diamond players have a spare Murkrow they don't need. Any gender will do, preferably female, though.
Heck, or a Starly egg - last one hatched with Fly, Defog, Aerial Ace, and Wing Attack.
Oh and you can't trade eggs in any way. Or get rid of them. Ugh.
And I'm about to start breeding Eevees, too. Mr. Gainsborough fucked around with this message on 04-26-2007 at 03:28 PM.

Dude, Gains, you've got a Munchlax? Sakkra'll totally suck your dick if you give me one.
