As for the other pieces, you can get them in the Arena and I think also in Oakvale, but I won't swear on it.

Oh, snap! I didn't do any shopping in the Arena... according to Google you can't get back into the Arena?
I know they're not in Oakvale. That's where my wife is.
There's another place you can get them, can't remember offhand, though. I got mine elsewhere from the Arena, but I don't remember where now. I'll research when I get home. Been a busy day at work today.

That's one of the things that always bugs me about RPGs: why is the only way to find things in buildings to smash everything breakable? I mean, really--is the wealthy lord who asked me to clear the evil critters out of his manor house going to be happy when I break everything and loot the place?

Marry the owners.
Worked for me and the barber chick in Bowerstone.
And as far as i know there's no way to get back inside the arena.
I should also mention that actually finding a merchant that sells the bits of Bright Plate you're looking for can be a MAJOR pain in the ass. So make sure you have all the cash you need before you go looking so you can buy both the pieces there.
The only helms in the game are the Chainmail ones. The Bright Chain Helm goes with the plate pretty well anyways so it's no big deal. Just a pain since you have to put it on seperatly from the suit. Dr. Gee fucked around with this message on 09-24-2004 at 05:00 PM.

Heh... when I made it back home to Oakvale after being in jail for a year, my wife game me another plate torso, so I'll have two to sell, along with the 13k gold I have.
What was odd was that after i got back from jail my wife didn't even respond to me. It sucked

That'll be enough. And if you don't really care much about matching just wear one of the plate BPs in the mean time. What was odd was that after i got back from jail my wife didn't even respond to me. It sucked
I am wearing a plate BP... hence my use of the word "Another".
My wife keeps singing she's so happy.
So therefore, I'm forced to assume that if you're already good, AVO SAYS FUCK YOU.
suggestions?

Go try for the Skorm's Bow first, then do the Avo temple thingy.

Yeah, there's a full beard. forgot what it's called though.
Er, I mean, I have the card, I just never got it on my character.
He looks so awesome, but his attractiveness is -1010020123912039.
If you are evil, and want a way around this, hire people, they can use weapons, if you happened to of sacrificed all the mercenaries in a reach out attempt to get the Skorm Bow (sigh...) punch the crap out of the person you want dead, and have the guards send a few cross bow bolts in their direction, putting them down and allowing you to buy up the place, unfortunately, with extreme testing children are the most hardcore things in the game, no way around it, had my mercs stab the crap out of one, had a few guard bolts fly into another, and they are the one thing that stops you from buying residences in Bowerstone South.
Oh another nice part of being evil in Bowerstone South, as soon as the school day ends, have one of the children stay, by talking to them repeatedly or telling them to follow you, depending on how evil you are depends on what you have to do. Then corner the little bastard and beat him like a red headed stepchild until the next school day starts, I ended with a combat multiplier of 42 and over 52k exp when my strength was crap, and it goes up faster the better your strength is... I have alot of fond memories of my evil character, but by far the best is his strength training was done with a 4 year old's face. Actually you can evil do this if you are good... there is a slight bug, if your wife gives you a gift at the right time, you get no evil points, and no one cares that you are beating the child, so you can smack them around the town without interruption, and believe me, its really funny to have a kid yell for the guard and have him just walk right by uncaring of the situation.
Another thing I noticed you talking about was the Temple of Avo, yes its just 1k to get the minor stuff, age reduction, paladin title. However 40000 should get you the legendary great mace. Skorm's temple is the only one I have issues with, and I am having a real bitch of a time getting that damn bow, one thing in the game that I have put effort into that I can't figure out, heard a rumor of if you are evil to do it at midnight, i brought a herd of 6 people there and sacrificed them all as quickly as possible right before, during, and after midnight with no effect.
There are a few other things I saw that I had some tips on also, just gotta reread the posts to help clear some of that stuff up.
Oh yeah I remember what it was, buying up houses and such, and really it is quite a breeze, just terrorize Oakvale for starters, buy up all the houses after killing or dragging the people out of town, sleep for three days down near the ghost pirate's house, and collect the rent, rinse recycle repeat, and congratulations you own a town, then just town bounce while buying up houses and collecting rent. I need those evil points dammit.

I got a divorce in Oakvale and nothing happened. I didn't even kill her, she just divorced me.
Where are my 600 evil points?

It's permanent with her.
You can marry up lots of ladies in other towns and get divorced by them, though.
Funny thing, though...
I've collected over 2000 evil points now and I'm still MAX good. It's crazy.

Try putting on armor that doesn't boost your good stat. With Bright Full Plate armor on (full set) I'm at max good as well, but as soon as I take the armor off and put on the Apprentice's Outfit I notice a huge chunk of my good bar missing.
Believe it or not, but the bar sucks in game, if you really want to know your alignment, try putting on neutral armor. The alignment stat bonuses you get from armor seem to do nothing for your character.
Man I rock

The Entire assasin set was for sale in the bandit camp, but I'm sure your past that. Assasin peices can be found on the beaches in Oakvale, A chest in the Bandit Camp, outside the Chapel of Skorm, and I forgot the last peice, I think.
Are you sure receding hairlines are due tue magic? I thought it was because you were evil. I was a 60 yr-old Spellwarrior, with a halo, strangely, and ahad a full head of hair. I was a 29 yr-old Necromancer withA two-inch gap between my hair on both sides. Just my insight.
The Exact Arena Order is :
Wasps, Hobbes, Balverines, Undead, The "Bandits of the Black Hand Gang", Earth trolls, Rock Trolls, and finally Arachanox.
There is no "bonus Item". I think it was another 10k, getting you 20k for the last fight.
For Huw's sword, you must max out every Might skill.
About the Dragons: The light house. It's believed that If you light the Light in the Light house the "---Goose"( A boat. I can't remember it's name) will dock, and apparently take you to were the dragon resides. Note: The book "The Dragons" say that dragons were banished to a northern cold place. Look near the top on your Map of Albion. What do you see?
I'm still attemping to find out what's up with the "Faceless" demon door outside The Heroes Guild.
If you are playing evil: KILL TRADERS. They usually carry Gems, money, or Augmentations, especially in the Bandit Rescue quest, where you meet Tanya, and save a Bandit Trader from a trap.
And finally: Why are there 25 silver keys in the game? The Higest number needed to open a chest is 20.
Eh... How much of an "Act of Great Evil" wil' be needed to open the Greatwood Gorge(I think) Demon Door?
And you DO NOT have to max every Strength stat to pulls Huw's sword. The game takes a snapshot of your stats when you first try to pull it and then you need to raise your Physique by 5, Health by 3, and Toughness by 2 from what they were to pull the sword. Usually this means maxing those stats out by this time in the game, but in theory someone with 0 in all three would only have to raise them to 5, 3, 2.

Everything is affected by your combat multiplier. Keep turning on and off Physical Shield with a combat multiplier of 30 or so.
