Beat the game in 5 hours.

Did it again and explored everything: 10 hours.

Bullshitting after credits: 5 hours.

I kinda got bored with it... I was thinking it would be Morrownd with better gameplay and interaction. I'm not disappointed, but I think I am underwhelmed..

Molynau's games are usually much more kickass, I think.

/shrug My first character has around 20 hours on it, mainly due to me just goofing off and exploring for a while. I figure my second character will have just as much because with him, I can (more easily) go around and slaughter people in towns, which is EXTREMELY fun to me for some odd reason.

Okay, heres some of the latest info from GameFAQs about secrets in the game. Most have been confirmed by hacking into the game's files with a hex editor and finding the quest's data.

1. There are secret quests for taking mercenaries around the game world.
2. There is a second arena battle.
3. There is a Singing Sword somewhere in the game. It likely has to deal with a "Talentless Bard". Yes, there is a Talentless Bard quest.
4. And ultimately, the BIG thing everyone is looking for, is the way to get into the Dragon's Lair area, which also has a battle WITH a dragon. The area is connected to Hook Coast, but so far, no one has a damn clue on how to get there.

The BIG problem is that it seems that the majority of these events are time sensitive, and it is making finding these quests a complete pain in the ass.

SO, if anyone in EC manages to find any of this ultimate secret stuff, post here about it please.

I figured that the Dragon thing had something to do with Hook Coast. I found a "Dragons" book on one of the shelves there, but other than that I have no ideas either.

I have Treasure Clues 1, 2, 5, and 6. I didn't even need 3 and 4 because those clues gave me all I needed.

And I found the "treasure of treasures."

I goddamn Frying Pan? 0 damage!? Doesn't even have any augmentation slots. When I dug it up, the guildmaster said "I see you've found the treasure without all the clues."

Disappointing to solve a puzzle and get absolute shit for it.

On the other hand, the Solus Greatsword > Sword of Aeons.

Should have found the other clues first.

The REAL pan is a 100 damage 5 augmentation slot weapon (the 5th slot doesn't show up, but there are indeed 5 slots on the weapon).

The thing is, if you get the pan before getting all 6 clues, theres no way to get the real frying pan that you would have gotten WITH all 6 clues.

Edit: I'll actually be helpful instead of an asshat. Here's the clue locations, copied and pasted from a post on GameFAQs.

#1: Rewarded after finishing the bounty hunt quest.
#2: Rewarded to you after completing a side quest to help save the merchants brother at the Abandoned Road.
#3: Rewarded after killing all the assassin's. They show up sporadically as you travel, eventually you'll have stopped all the waves of them.
#4: Rewarded after getting a high score (over 200) at the Archery Contest in Knothole Glade
#5: is in the Orchard in a chest.
#6: Found in a treasure chest behind the windmill on Windmill Hill

Locations of Assassins:
Windmill Hill
Knothole Glade
Prison Path
Hook Coast
Witchwood

The chance of them dropping the 3rd clue is apparently random, and I'm not sure if you can get them to spawn multiple times or not. Also, this is important: To get the assassins to spawn, your camera must be pointing away from the spot that the assassin spawns in at. In other words, if you are looking at the spot where the assassin appears from, it will not spawn and attack you.

Don't remember. I got them somewhere, though. I found boots first, then shirt, then leggings. That's all I got, though.

If anyone hasn't yet, you should think about doing all of the trader escort missions outside of the Hero's Guild in Lookout Point. It seems that you get better and better rewards from the traders every time you do the quest.

Twinblade's camp has a chest with the legs. At least, that's where my 2nd character found them.

My first character bought an assassin shirt early the in game. Don't think I ever took it off.

Then later I dumped in 65k, still got NOTHING.

At that point, I flipped off Avo and said "A BIG FUCK YOU TO YOU TOO THERE, BUDDY."

Interesting tidbit:

My guy was almost to the extreme of good, about midway through the last section onthe morality meter. I donated 36000 gold to Avo, and got 64 good points, no years younger.

Reloaded, and donated 1 gold. Got 4 good points. I did this until it went down to 3, then 2. Doing this, I accrued over 200 good points for less than 100 gold.

Opposingly, the more good you are, the more your Skorm offerings count.

That's the first time i've beaten a game in a while. Enjoyed the hell out of it too.

The only part that irritated me was that after all the XP i put into Multi-Shot i couldn't really use it in that last set of gauntlet fights because there were friendlies around and i'm playing Good. Would have been MUCH easier to be able to take out Minions with that rather than having to do normal shots + lots of Enflame.

Enflame is also sheer

The one guy goes...

Avo grants you the miracle of youth (or to some extent of that phrase)

Now I am.... 58 .... I wonder... hmmm

*edit: I continued to do so... now they gave me the title of paladin I loved being called deathbringer though I think 1k is the bare min to get stuff... maybe... but I did gain 7 years of my life the second time I donated

*edit2: gain life lose life... one of those things

code:
Greatsword: Solus Greatsword (3) (Legendary) - Valued at 69,825

Augm: Flame, Health, and Sharpening

Material: Legendary

Damage: 314

Class: Heavy

Acquired: Purchase at Bowerstone North

Augm: Mana, Health, Experience, and Sharpening

Sword of Aeons is indeed better statwise, but you don't have to kill your sister or beat the game to get Solus, which is what I meant

Somehow I doubt 5 sharpenings is going to make a 100 damage weapon better than something with 3-5 times that damage PLUS health regen, mana regen, etc.
