Well, not that bad, but it's not all that sexy either.
Not to mention I gave him a goatee, fumanchu, and long bangs. And a big facial tattoo.
Right now i'm so heavily scarred that my scariness raiting is at a +7 even when butt naked and giggling.
The best part is that since i've got a sweet hair/beard combo my attractiveness is still pretty high despite the scars. I married the barber lady in South Bowerstone

It feels like the story of the game is winding down already, though. That bothers me. Thunder has already threatened my life, too, and the Grey Lady of Bowerstone has invited me to her house.
As soon as I saw Jack of Blades, I knew he would soon be dead at my hands. That day shall come!
I got through the bandits, and then chickened out, then tried to leave the arena to level up (mistake) and had to reload my save?
how many more tiers are after bandit, just so I have an idea of how far I'll have to go...

The last three levels are:
1. Earth Giant things.
2. Rock Giant things.
3. Arachranox!!!!!
Those are the only three I remember.
Oh, and there's one final fight where you can either kill Whisper or let her live. If you kill her, you get much money.
Oh, one of the fights is Balverines. Then Hobbes. Sorry, I can't remember all the fights. Gadani fucked around with this message on 09-17-2004 at 07:55 AM.

I think it's Wasps, Hobbes, Bandits, Balverines, Undead, Earth Trolls, Rock Trolls, Arachanox, Whisper. Don't think I missed anything and I believe that's the right order. Of course, there's waves of each.

The 10k extra?
Oh, and i gave up on my melee guy and switched to a Skill/Magic guy. Emflame whoring + Magic Arrows = rawk.
I just wish the magical arrows didn't hit anyone who happens to be with me. It's really really irritating getting nailed with three counts of murder because the fucking gaurds got in the way of my arrows.
I just wish that the uber-Longbow could be gotten without sac'ing a lot of people to Skorn. I just don't have the cash on hand to buy back my goodness.
So does anyone know whether you're able to continue playing in the sandbox after you beat the game or not?
***NOTE***
When I say "went evil" and "went good" I mean the choice at the end of the game.

Actually, for the Skorm's Bow, you only have to sacrifice one guy. The merc outside of the Temple of Avo. Hire him and take him to The Temple of Skorm and sacrifice him at exactly 6 AM game time. (Notes: MAKE SURE TO SAVE BEFORE DOING THIS. Also, 6 AM game time is when the clock dial has the night part to the left and the day part to the right, exactly in between the two.) If you do it right, you should get a HUGE evil bonus and Skorm's Bow.
Also, you are allowed to play in the sandbox after you beat the game, just wait out the credits and it'll put you right back in the game. If you don't wait out the credits and try to skip them, you'll be sent to the title screen.
BTW, anyone know a good way to make some money after you beat the main quest? I want to start buying out towns, but I have ZERO cash. Willias fucked around with this message on 09-19-2004 at 01:09 AM.

So how much actual gameplay are we talking? More than Morrowind, or less? I played that forever, mostly because I got sidetracked by quests, and didn't get to the main plot until I was like 20th level.
Less. Considerably less.
The comparison I've been hearing in reviews has been "a more action-centric Morrowind." I'd say a more accurate statement is "a more RPG-centric Zelda"; the plot is a walking cliche and there's no real exploration to speak of; every zone is connected strictly by paths. Does this make it a BAD game, absolutely not--but it does make it a pretty small one.
I tried to prolong the game (did as many quests as I could get my hands on, searched for all the special items, did a good deal of leveling) and my final time was around 12.5 hours.
However, the ending, and the complete lack of substance in the endgame, have soured the game considerably for me; enough so that I lost my desire to try playing it again as diehard evil.

Now you can begin goofing off with the game. Try owning all of the buildings in the game world, get married as many times as possible. See what happens when you take one wife to one of your other wives. Try and find the secrets in the game (which apparently, there are quite a few buried deep in the game). And the biggest thing you can try to figure out is this:
woh.
There is still stuff to do in the game. The thing is, no one knows how to find the crap, because supposedly, some things in the game are opened up from playing for a certain amount of time, and others are opened up at certain times of a real world day.

ACES! Another post by Gadani:
How do you pull the sword of Huw out of the stone?
Go and try to pull it. After you pull it, listen to what the nearby villagers say. They'll give you a clue on which Strength stat you should raise next.
Examples:
If they say something like you need to get more excercise, raise Physique.
If they say something like you look tired/sickly after trying to pull the sword, raise Health.
If they say you aren't tough enough to pull the sword, raise Toughness.
If you need exp, go to Cliffside path (Its on the way to the prison where you saved your mom) and follow the land part of the map (as opposed to the watery part of the map), until you get two skeletons to spawn. Put up Physical Shield (IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THIS SPELL, YOU ARE A VERY SILLY PERSON, I'm sad that I didn't find out the usefulness of this spell until the end of the game) and go to town on the skeletons, as for each one you kill, another respawns in its place. Physical Shield will keep your Combat Multiplier from being interrupted as long as you have mana, and... well, I think you know where I'm going with this.
Just make sure you have plenty of mana potions, and you'll have a Combat Multiplier of 200 and tens of thousands of general exp in no time. Willias fucked around with this message on 09-19-2004 at 06:37 PM.

Yeah, if you spend enough time there, well, lets say you haven't raised a single stat/skill/spell in the game (except for Physical Shield level 1). If you had enough mana potions, you could get enough exp there to max out every single ability in the game in an hour and a half. I spent like 30 minutes there and managed to max out every spell in the game. Once you get a Combat Multiplier of 100+, each skeleton you kill gives you 1k exp per kill, and it keeps going up from there.
The only other place you could even get close to the speed of exp that is in Cliffside Path is at the Hero's Guild before you complete the main plot of the game. (Go and kill a few random people there and see what happens. Lots of constantly spawning guards in a closed in area. EASY evil points.)
BTW, spells in this game were a lot better than I originally thought. Multishot and Berserk are awesome.

Edit: Also, I've started over. First game I played a good warrior type character. This time I'm playing an evil archer/wizard character. I hate to admit this, but this is the first time I've played a game twice in a row, and had as much fun the second time, as I did the first time.

Everyone wondered WTF when Dr. Gee wrote:
Do any new names ever pop up or will it always just be the ones you can buy from the guy outside the Hero's Guild?
I guess that you've already figured this out, but you can get titles outside of the Hero's Guild, outside of the Arena, the title Paladin for donating 30k+ gold at the Temple of Avo, and the title of Necromancer for making a big sacrifice at the Temple of Skorm.
Also, depending on which abilities you use, you get different class names.
I played mainly a good melee character for my first game and had the class name of Warrior. Later on, when I started using a good amount of magic, I recieved the name of Spellwarrior.
My evil archer/mage guy has the class name of Witchhunter.
Also, in case no one has figured this out yet, the main reason that your age greatly outnumbers the number of game days is because you age everytime you train your character. Strength and Skill training will not age you NEARLY as much as Will training. Heres a cool thing, you can go to the Temple of Avo and make donations of 30k+ and make big sacrifices at the Temple of Skorm to get years of your life back (your character recieves the gift of youth). Willias is now officially "The Man"excellent info
Spending hours looking for Fable secrets on GameFAQs has paid off pretty well I think.
Okay, heres some of the latest info from GameFAQs about secrets in the game. Most have been confirmed by hacking into the game's files with a hex editor and finding the quest's data.
1. There are secret quests for taking mercenaries around the game world.
2. There is a second arena battle.
3. There is a Singing Sword somewhere in the game. It likely has to deal with a "Talentless Bard". Yes, there is a Talentless Bard quest.
4. And ultimately, the BIG thing everyone is looking for, is the way to get into the Dragon's Lair area, which also has a battle WITH a dragon. The area is connected to Hook Coast, but so far, no one has a damn clue on how to get there.
The BIG problem is that it seems that the majority of these events are time sensitive, and it is making finding these quests a complete pain in the ass.
SO, if anyone in EC manages to find any of this ultimate secret stuff, post here about it please.
