Fae is wandering around on there. Strange people talking to me, and I felt bad, beacause it took me a minute to figure out the chat/tell/ stuff. So I didn't respond to fast at first.

It's becoming a part of angelicRO, and will be selectable on that screen where you pick Angel.
It will have the old characters from Waisz's server.
It and Angel differ enough that it's worth playing on both though.
We're about 50% done fixing Dark Tower up.

Not really, the servers both have players.
Some of the EC people have already made characters on Angel.
Angel already had several (non-EC, but still) players before that, as well.

If you talk to a Kapra chick and get yourself warped to Prontera town, then go east a bit, there's a skill platinum guy. Tell him you're a novice, and you get the skills for free. But you don't spend skill points improving them. Same for other jobs, I am to be assuming.

However Angel doesn't have the skills at all right now except for by those who got them when they were accessable as normal skills.

It's still going to be Waisz's server, I THINK. Its just moving to another client system that will probably be less laggy.
Here's the directions from what I gather so far.
1. Take off the /repak off of the executables for ragexe and sakrayexe and patch normally.
2. Delete the data folder.
3. Download the BitTorrent file that Waisz posted for the client to aRO. Once you have downloaded the torrent file, THEN execute it. This will allow you to download the client for aRO.
4. Put both the GRF and exe files from the zip you get from the Torrent into your main RO folder.
5. Run angelic lite.exe and patch the game, use this to enter the game.
The patches can take a little while, so RIG's .rar files above may help you patch faster.

Also, for those who keep wondering, neither server is 'the cool server'.
They will now peacefully coexist and will both have their ups and downs.

Well, if you're using RIG's .rar files, you want to get them, extract them into the RO folder, and then execute the patchers. Otherwise, you listed the steps exactly.
And to answer the question, the previous EC characters will be on Dark Tower. It's not up right now. It may not be for a little while.
