"Right, got it." Kedarien said, making a mental checklist of what he'd need to purchase before he got to work. When the general mentioned that he too would be following the assassin, Kedarien almost smirked, but held back his thoughts and instead occupied himself by pulling a pair of lined vials from his hip.
"These ought to do the trick..." He muttered.

It didn't take Kedarien long to find the supplies he needed, and to mix up another batch of the poison he had chosen for the night's work. Knowing that stealth was going to be everything in the hunt, he left just about all of his supplies in his room at the inn. Armed with his trusty Ragebringer, a backup short-sword and a half-dozen poison vials, Kedarien swung his cape around his back and exited the inn, disappearing into the back streets and alleys, becoming one with the shadows as he began the search.

Aeadil proudly walked around the docks.. It was dark outside, and truth be told he was scared.

Suddenly, it got darker, and Aeadil proclaimed "What the fuck?"

Yes friends. His head was lopped off.

The Dark Assassin struck once again, and with that, the lands quivered in fear.

Over the silence, you hear a loud voice.

"lvl 47 mage lfg 2 kil DA"

Then, a scream, then silence.

"Rezz plz"

Grammar is your enemy! - While being able to understand someone's sentences might seem like a good idea for a proper essay, complaining on a forum scarcely leaves time for such trivialities. I go from shop to shop buying supplies here and there. Finally I head towards the jail with 4 backpacks of supplies that will hopefully help make the night for the Guild leaders a lil bit easier. Out of no where I hear a mage shouting for a group and then a scream and silence. Seeing night come on I shiver and head inside the jail.

/ooc sorry something came up today

The general suited up in his old rogue gear heads out with a quiver full of poisoned arrows, and 2 rapiers... one looks like it is burning. As he hears the screams he runs as quietly as he can to his hiding spot near a peculure looking tavern.

At this moment a dark figure rushes by looking like he is heading away from the monk guild.

The general runs to the monk guild to find the guard dead and the traps all sprung.

"What the fucking hell," he exclaimed.

He rushes off at full speed, not caring about stealth, to the jail.

he calls out to Kedarius the best way without it being noticed too much.

I walk into the jail and hand the guild leaders the bags and let them dispears the stuff amongst themselves. Occasionally hearing them complaining that this isn't what they wanted or that I didn't grab something that they wanted. I move over towards the jail window and look out at the night when the General comes through the door. I nod as the General rambles. Finally I reply, "Well General you can count on me to make sure these Guild Leaders survive." With that I bow before the General and walk into a office off to the side of the jail cells and don on my armor then sitting down to meditate and prep some spells.

Kedarien had been silently making his rounds, passing from guildhouse to guildhouse without creating the slightest whisper of sound, when he finally arrived at the last stop in his rotation.
~Traps sprung, guard dead...hooray for the General...I can see why he's no longer a rogue.~ Kedarien, completely hidden by shadows glared at the dead guard's body. As he was standing glaring, he heard a noise. To anyone else, it would have sounded like a pin dropping onto a cloth mat...most people wouldn't hear that, but Kedarien did. He whirled, his eyes locked on a figure, the figure looked at him...and then vanished. Now, again, most people would think they had been fooled by a trick of the light, but Kedarien knew better. He took off in a dash, darting between streets, the assassin wasn't far away...he swung around a corner, leapt down a set of stairs, slammed through a closing door.

The chase continued...

ooc:
I haven't a frigging clue who's in charge of the Dark Assassin, which is why I left my post hanging on Kedarien chasing this assassin. If someone wants to pick up the DA then go ahead, and I'll keep chasing...

The Dark Assasin going back to the scean of the crim to set the traps again, so it looked more professional, saw Kedarian and took off running down the street weaving in and out of shadows as best he can. "Damn that rogue I thought he's be with the general. I mean hell a deft man could here the general calling for him when I was chased the first time... Oh well, time to show him some true rogue work." At this the assasin runs into a barn and dives into a big pile of hey and awaits his chaser's arival. <snickers softly> Time to kill this one

The general sulks out back to finish his runs and heads over towards the monks guild to pick up his traps and the guards corpse.

Kedarien skidded to a halt, narrowly avoiding slamming into the wall next to the barn door.
~Cute trick.~ He thought, taking a quick glance inside the dark barn. Several warning bells were blaring in his mind as he studied the various shapes and lines...the dark assassin was hiding in there somewhere.
~Okay, so, there's only one exit...which means nothing for a rogue...which means he might *not* be in there...but I have to check anyway.~ Kedarien slipped his Ragebringer from his hip, and also pulled out a small, round clay ball. He reached back, and rolled the ball into the middle of the barn.

There was a brief crackling noise, and then a large cloud of green gas began to pour out of the ball.

As he then relizes he is literaly trape he summuns the rest of his stregnth and trys to bolt out the door and trys to run along side the barn so the smoke still covers him up alittle.

Feeling the fresh air he sorta gains more strength from the smoke bomb, but it still isn't enough to move much farther. He stumbles in the grass and passes out.

Meanwhile, in the fair lands of Faydwer, a man is desperately trying to stay alive. He is hidden by obscurity of the night, disappearing in the gloomy shadows cast down by the thick trees of Greater Faydark. With a bounty on his head, and wanted by affiliates of The Black Hand, this man can not spare a single mishap, or his life is forfeit.

The Black Hand is comprised of rogues who specialize in the ‘fine art’ of assassination. This malevolent organization, although hidden in secrecy, is known by all men; people fear that they will become the next piece of game for their entertainment. Killing brings pleasure to the members of The Black Hand. Rulers of great nations, confined to their own living chambers, are frightened at the thought of roaming in the open. The countless fingers of The Black Hand extends deep into the hearts of kingdoms. No one is safe.

Shunning away from civilization, this man has not seen anotherÂ’s face in several months. He is exhausted, desperate for a trickle of hope to shine through his nightmare. But all he has seen so farÂ… his loved ones, so innocent and caringÂ… How could he have let them perish for his own deeds? Pained by the reminiscences of the past, he searches for an explanation. His way of seeing things, however, makes that explanation unreachable, unless he admits to his own cowardice. He claims to be of no fault for the demise of his family.

Every shred of his life is torn by agony. This man cannot survive any longer by himself as he claws for that distant answer. Why canÂ’t he confess to himself? He has always followed the path of truth and virtue. A renowned hero just a few months agoÂ… but now he is just as dead as a withered leaf, floating to the dense foliage of a forest floor, soon to decay and be forgotten. Why? The word floods through his every thought and haunts him to no end.

A sudden snap of a nearby twig startles the man, and he frantically looks about. He has been discovered. Four men draped in black cloaks swiftly surround him. The Black Hand has finally found their man.

He is too fatigued to fight back, let alone try to flee. Knowing that his departure of the world is near, he staggers to his feet and gazes at each of the men. His mind is swamped by a flood of thoughts. Why? Why canÂ’t this man, a hero in every right, just acknowledge the fact that he stole that loaf of bread at the marketplace? His lips quiver as he tries to utter a final plead of forgivenessÂ… but all that comes out of his petrified mouth is the wordÂ…

He said...Doink?

Out of the blue, a group of five wizards appear to the north of the four assassins and their victim. They're wearing very ornate robes, the design would only be known to a select few. The group approaches, their hands at their sides, walking calmly and with an aura of confidence swirling around them.

The five stop, and one steps forward, the leader. His hands begin to glow red, and then the victim is surrounded by a flaming shield. The hands of the other four wizards begin to catch on fire, and then the four assassins are suddenly struck with an intense barrage of flaming energy.

In the distance, the sound of a horse galloping can be heard. The sound gets louder, someone is approaching.

With a crash, a pure white horse breaks through the folliage, it's rider is an elf, who brings the horse to a quick halt, and grabs the victim by his shirt, hauling him up and over, resting him just infront of where the elf is sitting on the horse's back.
"Hang on!" He says aloud...

Anyways, one day I found that the 25% that we gave to the poor was gone, so I asked my brother. and he replied 'i have no clue' I knew he lied so we had an argument and in my anger I got a guard to arrest him. He spent 15years in that prison, he tried to shift some blame to me and I took some but I added that we gave alittle to the poor and so I got off with 5years. In the end I worked 10years to get to my commanding spot. That explains why he wants to kill me and now for the guild leaders. While in this prison we noticed that it was a guild leader that did the torturing. I also noticed that my brother made some very very evil friends, but they were close friends. Anyways, one day his friend turned up missing. So he asked a guard that was generally nice to us and the guard said with a slight grin, 'that his friend was to be slowly killed with a blunt dagger and then before he died tossed into the ocean... Yes, I know it is cruel but you should have herd some of the things this guy did. So, I guess he has something against guild leaders now.. Fantasha then hopes up and jumps into the ocean when the barge pulls simi-close to an island. She then runs across island and again waits patiently at another dock. To her relief she does not wait long before a mechanical boat of sorts pulls up to the dock. She then climbs aboard and goes further into Iceclad Ocean.

Kedarien's scowl grows stronger as he listens to the general's "sincere" story.
~Humans. Hmpf. They're all the same.~ He thought, running the story through his head again. It still didn't make sense, so he figured the General was lying, which made even less sense. Then again, he had better things he could be doing then standing around watching a Qeynos General cry.
"Oh shut up," He growled, "seems you got a pretty good deal out of all of this.
