Azymyth has been around a lot of people, and has developed an ability to sometimes get feelings from them. And right now he's getting the feeling he's not being taken seriously. So the decides to do the best alternative: ignore the hyena man until he sees reason not to.

He gives a polite nod to Zelente, "If you've got work to do, probably best if you get done..." he murmurs absently as he takes the book he had been holding in his hand the whole time and starts pouring over it.

Calena gasps out, "Azy!" then sees he's not going to hurt the fellow and frowns at Chuck. "That is not a very nice way to treat a person, you know! He isn't some doll to be tossed around." She walks over and makes sure Azy is all right, then turns her frown back to the hyena man. "And I am not scared of you. You are not terrorizing me. You're annoying me. Go away."

Azymyth grabs the book by both hands to keep from dropping it, blinking as he feels himself lifted up, then rolling his eyes when he's set down and aside. Taking the hint, he moves off a ways, muttering, "Any people have questioned -my- relationships..."

Malbi yawns and stretches becoming quite bored in his room. he gets up and heads towards the library hoping to find a good gnomish joke book. "I wonder how many guest will I be entertaining tonight they were sorta vague..."
Upon arriving at the libary the joke book is not where he expects and grumbling; he wanders looking for someone who might know where the book is. He sees several people involved in what seems to be an arguement.
"Uh excuse me..." suddenly sees one of them is a large dog-thing with very big teeth, and promptly gives out a startled yelp and dives under the closest table

Chuckles seems largely unimpressed and unaffected by Calena's imperious attitude, and says very calmly, as he reaches out to drag the gnome (Malbi) out from his hiding place to set him on his feet, to Calena, "Yeah lot of inventors say that. Then they invent some new means of spewing flaming oil onto a battlefield or something. Suppose it'll help with those lonely cries though, eh?"

Calena picks the item up lovingly and runs her fingers over it. "It's going to be part of the mechanism that will run another machine," she says softly. "A machine that will be able to fly like a bird." Her gaze comes up from the piece in her hands and she smiles a bit wistfully. "My father's last work. Now it's up to me to carry it on."
