I just cleared 4B in the bank...yeah...I am worth the per tick interest of the uber players...I am shadow uber...or something.
Does the unpaid loans stop you from using the special in 0 or the banks?

I didnt start out very good.. You notice how I've climbed up the ladder the last few days though?
Also, been spending a lot of turns just hunting evil players, its not quite 2.8 billion.. Reason for that number was interest on already high amounts on planets. After a recent upgrade, which made me take all my money out, my per tick amount is only like almost 2Bil little less. [ 08-29-2002: Message edited by: Faelynn LeAndris ]

Overall score does not just dictate income potential. It is also your efficentcy rating, (Mine sucks, cause I screwed around), you ship level which is Tech lvl 25.47 in my case, overall planets and assets, I make a lot of money, but I only have 50 planets.
A lot of things go into calculating your score. Thats why some people of high rank, may or may not be high on the list. I've also gone from 20th place to 7th in a day and a half.
If I take all my money and start over at zero, my plants gain around 1.6+ billion or so, total over all of them. I also have almost 4 billion Colonists. The 2.8 was from when I already had high amounts of money on each planet already. So it was the base amount plus interest on a lot.
My sectors each have around 3mil Fighters and around 2 Mil mines for sector defenses, and my planet are likewise well stocked, so production is down to a minimum, and can be put almost entirely devoted to income.

Your wimpy workers need to work more than 21.6 hours a day. You need to force your workers to work longer hours. More overtime for less pay.
where'd I get that number? 90% of 24 hours!
conclusion: planet combat is gay gay gay.
that is all.

Try landing next time.
1) That the people in the top few positions are basically invincible. There is no way for a smaller player to even injure them without losing their ship. No amount of skillful play, intelligence, or luck can cause you to have any advantage over someone who is larger than you. And because of the SIM style of the game, the stronger you are, the faster you get stronger.
2) It's not remotely player to player oriented.
I feel like I'm playing on my own server. There are occasions when I pass other ships, there are random sprinkled mines, and trade routes are sometimes degraded.
And Ace takes out the threat. [ 08-30-2002: Message edited by: nem-x ]
Good show, 28mil figs is too much.
As it stands, you can build a planet up far easyier/faster then you can a ship and honestly, if I lost 1 planet its nothing compared to losing my ship.
Things are borked in that respect. Ships are to weak all around.
As Nem just remaked, if Ace had 26 million fighters on that planet, nobody is EVER taking it solo. NEVER. Tech level 30 is like 19 million fighters. So, basically, you could suicide your whole alliance against that one planet to finally take it over and then find out he took the money off it. You're out 100s of billions, hes out... almost nothing and whats even better, hes got 49 other planets with 26 million fighters on it. [ 08-31-2002: Message edited by: Ferrel ]
Around Two Trillion credits were invested into my ship too. Can't wait until the remodeling of the game.

I dont follow, if you could kill 20 million and 28 should'a been easy, how did you lose?
Is there a random factoring in now? Cause I lost a battle the other day that should have been pathetic easy.
I dunno, combat is risky business.

you must've flown into a tree, like me. you'd think i could at least land my ship on the two goddamn colonists on that planet and call it even.
the combat system is ENTIRELY borked.
Now let's wait for the fantasy version.

i just don't like losing my ship (and half of my points) to a planet with almost nothing on it.

2.3 trillion here.

When I started losing turns, I went up to 120.
And now, I don't feel like colonizing more planets.
Naming them after elements isn't all that rewarding... sure I covered most of the periodic table (I didn't start naming them after elements until I started the mass colonization.) but it really wasn't fun.
especially the ones with more players, sorta like this one. the fun part is the rush to conquer the galaxy, not sitting on our thumbs when we're done.
also, i will take your credits! woowoo. luv u. [ 09-01-2002: Message edited by: hard technology rock ]
