All the items that they're putting limits on, they're putting limits that are below the "normal level to obtain"... The only game is the 50+ game. The rest is just downtime. This entire thing has spawned off people that have not the time, the contacts, the persistance and/or the abilities to gather items like this.
Jealous that some guy has a fungi and you don't? Level the fuck up and play the game if you want one instead of whining like a pansy to make the guy that invested alot of time getting that item lose all the hours he's spent on it.
I have 40 days of online time from trading for items for twinks. Hey, sweet, I'm just going to lose them now. Hurray. But wait, at least I won't be really superior to your character that you have used 2 online days on! That's a really great thing, because we should all be socialistic and equal, right? Doesn't matter if I spend more time on it, you should just get your share of my stuff. That, or I shouldn't be able to use it. Right?
The only thing I liked about this game was the replayability. But now that's gone.
Conclusion: 13$ a month less for Verant, I guess.

Why the hell can't you PLAY THE CLASS? Why did you spend all the time to get high end shit just so you could put it on a level 1 character? That's not "playing the game", that's "playing at the game".
Playing the game is taking it as it comes, inherent challenges included and conquering. I remember when a last name was a status symbol. It meant that person put in time and effort to reach that level. Now it's something that if you don't have it on day 2, you must be a n00b. Not particularly with the character that is wearing it.. But I think I have done my time and deserve to twink a character or eight.

I am not whining. I will just get my monk to 50. No biggie.
The ecomony wont be hurt by this all that much... Twinks will no longer be walking equipment of destruction.... And in the end, it will all work.
And no, this isnt forcing equality... just some balance. You can still have the equipment advantage over people of similar level if you choice.. just not to the point it becomes grossly overpowering.

I don't happen to find the 50- game fun at all. To me, there is only one game: The raiding game. I don't have access to powerlevelers anymore, so I'm stuck with using gear. However, that's no longer an option.

They're nowhere near done with the level restriction thing on items yet. If you believe that, you are naive. As for the uberguilders liking it ruining my argument? Pffft. The uberguilders don't mind because they're tired of n00bs leveling extremely fast to take over 'their' spots, and they have access to high level powerlevers anyway.
And yeah, in my eyes, you're a whiner. Why not just let me enjoy the game and use the gear I want? Because the 50- game isn't my idea of fun. If you can't handle me leveling faster than you because I spent more time on "preparation" for leveling, you need to get a grip, because you're out of touch with reality.

No.. they make mobs in the high game tougher.
High Level = Tweaks to mobs
Low Level = Tweaks to equipment
Only way they could deal with it because not all low levels are twinks.

(2) You want to "play the game" and yet you seem to have this *need* for high end regen items? Um... That's not PLAYING the game, that's playing AT the game. Seeing level 6 chars in full Kunark armor doesn't bother me too much, they're still gonna die. All that armor does is delay the humping and wh0ring for plat to buy new armor. Seeing a level 6 in a Fungi is different. With that 1 piece of gear they're damn near UNKILLABLE. If there is no Risk, what's the point of Playing?
Wonder what they'll do to the other high end mobs, and POP.
I also wonder if POP mobs will have stupidly high migitation...

I quit for 6 months. By that time, my gear was retarded, and I had been bored with my class for a long time anyway. I sold his gear, started tradewhoring, and twinked. It's not like YOU are suffering from my twinking? Why do you care, if not because of jealousy?
