Personally, I have a PS2, and don't plan on getting an Xbox or GCN. I just like PS/PS2 games better. They have titles like Dynasty Warriors 2 and 3. Does that mean that Xbox or GCN are horrible systems?
NO.
Just because the PS2 has good games, and comes from the makers of PS1, doesn't mean you can try to convert people. Just because Xbox has the hardware, doesn't mean that you can try to convert people. Just because Nintendo games are fun as hell in multiplayer, doesn't mean you can try to convert people.

Why buy something that takes up more space than a VCR when you can buy the cute little Game Cube?
I know Halo Looks amazing...but I expected it to be released on the PC first. 
But I'm voting for the GameCube all the way...I've been a Nintendo Junkie since I got my NES as a child. NES had great games for an 8-bit system.(FF1, Elevator Action, Rad Racer)
Then I got my gameboy (yea, the chunky grey ones...)
I eventually took out acrylic paints..(the cheap kid's craft kind) and painted it red/green.
Then I got a TG-16...traded it in for a SNES...I shouldn't have either...TG-16 was an amazing system It played Cards dammit!!
