In the meantime I've been looking at Vendetta Online and I feel impressed about it. In fact, I'll try it out. It's supposed to be able to run on a 56k connection and its combat is twitch based...

Not to mention, you've always gotta have backup. I practically splooge myself whenever I see a mining barge pop up on my scanner without an escort.
Course, sometimes, there's backup and it's just somewhere else... I started in on a Covetor the other night, and a Ferox warped in to help. Since my Taranis was made of hopes and dreams, I ran like hell.

Destroyers blow for anything but running agent missions. If you plan on doing any PvP, I'd skip them entirely and go for carriers or T2 frigs.
