The most convenient source of nourishment seems to be the large pile of meat piled on the supply cart. There is far more meat on the cart than there was last night, and it appears that the lizardman beside the cart has been stripped to the bone. It seems likely that this is where the lizardman got the strip of meat he handed to you for Twin Moon.

Glancing around, you notice that the hyena-like cackling is coming from... no... no... anything but that! It's a giant rabbit! And all you have to fight it off with is this giant orange club with long green leaves growing out of one end. This can't be good.
Khazmon instinctively throws the club at the giant rabbit, and regrets his mistake as now he has nothing to beat it with.
We all make mistakes, it seems.
Maybe we both can learn something from each other, hmmm?
Look in your pack...you may notice my little companion, a magpie.
It might be best if we learn from each other. I learn to be more tolerant, while you learn to be a bit...more aware of your surroundings?
I will make sure that my companion does not...go through your things again...
Sae then chuckles, and thinks...
"OK Ithar, be careful. If you are good, I will ask him if he will share his food with you..."
All the while saying this, her hands are behind her back, her fingers crosses on one hand, with the other hand concealing them...
People become friends in the oddest of ways...
Maybe we should go discuss whatever it is that the others want to discuss, though. Might be important... [ 02-27-2002: Message edited by: Falaanla Marr ]
He then begins walking over to the rest of the people, and at the same time lifts the flap of his shoulder-bag to check for its supposed occupant.

I see that many of you have not been checking the close-up map. You all gathered together to talk, then all go to "join the rest of them" whom you happen to already be next to. Now, this doesn't cause a problem, but it does mean that you're performing a "null" action. That is, doing something that amounts to not doing anything. You can't walk back to the people you never moved away from. The only ones not standing with the group are Freya (Aanile), Taylen, and the sleeping Khazmon (Ruvyen).
The giant rabit begins eating the big orange club with the long green leaves growing out of one end. This appears to distract it, however it still leaves the matter of the large ogre with the gem-encrusted axe.
Drakkenmaw
Feeling around in your bag, you don't manage to find anything out of the ordinary. Your bag still holds the rations and other supplies you got in Terranada, and the bag of teeth you picked up earlier this morning.
Falaanla
"Ooh, big hand! Hippety hoppety hippety hoppety," Ithar comments jovially. "Hey, he has teeth in here. Want one?"
Aanile
Despite the hours since it was first... cooked, the lizard meat still appears reasonably fresh. There are also a few pieces of salted meat near the bottom of the pile, though they don't smell nearly as tasty.
Twin Moon seems quite contented. She doesn't fidget in the least, even at the smell of the meat nearby. She also appears a bit rounder than usual, and has probably eaten her fill.
Wow, Silvan sure seems to be quite the...feminine...type. so worried about his clothes...
She then says
Come now, Silvan. We have things to worry about more important than your clothes now, don't we?
She then laughs to herself. THIS is going to be fun.
Listening to the robed elf babble about his pressious clothing, and the comment made by the little winged girl, Frey couldn't help but chuckle, softly.
Not thinking twice, Khazmon runs at the axe and jumps for it, attempting to take it from the ogre.
"Okays!" Ithar answers. "Toothy teethy teethy toothy hippety hoppety hippety hoppety boing boing whee!" A few seconds later, the little bird pops its head out of the bag, then hops up onto the bag's edge, with a small white object in its beak. "Got one," the bird chimes, hopping off the bag's edge and flitting into the half-elf's hair while she is looking the other way.
Drakkenmaw
You feel a light tap on your hand, but afterwards cannot find its cause. A few seconds later, you notice the same little bird fly back into the half-elf's red hair as had been there a few moments before. You never really noticed it leaving the woman's hair, and it now appears to have something in its beak. However, you can't really tell what the little bird is carrying.
The half-elven woman appears distracted, as she and the robed elf are discussing a piece of parchment.
Aanile
There is plenty of meat to go around, cooked to different degrees. In all, the pile of lizard meat probably weighs more than you do.
Ruvyen
You catch the ogre by surprise, as you leap high into the air, snagging the gem-encrusted axe on your way by. You practically fly by the massive creature... say, when are you coming down from this jump? It seems like you've just kept on going. The ground is pretty far away now. Shouldn't this axe be heavy or something? It looks heavy. It feels heavy. But if it really was heavy, you would surely have found the ground by now. This is definitely not normal.
Wait... He didn't really seem to be floating before he took the axe. He looks at it, wondering. Maybe the gems are enchanted, with some kind of levitation spell. Or, maybe...
Khazmon quickly looks downwards, just to make sure that there's actually ground beneath him.

It appears that we have lost Taylen in the mists. If he doesn't show up soon, he will be treated as an NPC.
A dense forest rolls by far below you. Far in the distance, the ogre appears hardly larger than an insect, jumping up and down in frustration. The giant rabbit appears to have left. Off in the distance are some mountains, towards which you appear to be headed.
ooc:Aanile
Good time to look at the website. There have been some updates. Keep in mind that, at the moment, only Taylen knows where this camp is located.
There is little loose material suitable for the purposes of drying out meats. The nearest thing to it that you can find is the overturned cage wagon nearby, where you find it a relatively simple task to hang strips of meat across the steel bars. In order to make use of it, you need to put down your quarterstaff, since Twin Moon still occupies your other arm.
Taylen
The land around you has only a few landmarks worthy of note. There are mountains far to the west, lit by the sun which now hangs warmly above the eastern horizon. The trees are both north and east of you, with the west 'round to the southeast fairly clear of nearby obstruction, save the occasional lone tree among the grasses.
Your recent travels have led you all around this small terrain, but through it all, you kept your bearings. After all, it can do little good to lose one's self in the process of finding someone else. Before long, you believe yourself fairly certain of where you now are.
"You go to town. I no.. want nearrr it." She manages out in common. "To many otherrrs.."
The drawing is crude, but you can make out a few key points. A thick line appears to indicate the edge of the forest, and another marks the water's edge to the south. The mountains to the west are also crudely outlined, giving you an impression of the map's scale. Taking these details into consideration, you manage to approximate your current location.
It seems that the Fellin woman has no real interest in heading for civilization. What's more, she has brought a rather unusual name to your attention: 'Soranil'. None of you recognize this name, though it sounds at once both gentle and powerful.
While the Fellin woman occupies herself laying out strips of meat across the steel bars of the overturned wagon, with her owl carefully cradled on one arm, the red-headed girl and the leather-clad elf discuss the parchment with each other. They appear to have a rather in-depth discussion, bringing up names such as Vista.
Willias
The energies around and within you begin to come into focus. You remember clearly the words in the book upon your lap, and recite them in whispers as you gather and focus their energies.

The terrain is nothing you recognize. And, unfortunately, you have little chance to ponder the subject. Your grip appears to be slipping a bit. You will either need to get a better grip, or let go and take your chances.
"He is, grreat legend to my... people." She manages out in common. "He has powerrr to do this. I do not doubt... it was him." Her words wer soft, contrasting the look on her face. She didn't wish to wake her owl friend, and just sat there craddling her like a babe.
"I hearrrd he was in... this arrea."
Of the two points on the map that the red-haired girl does not recognize, you are familiar with one. Judging by its location with respect to the forest's edge, the more northern mark most likely represents Destindeterre. The more southern mark, however, is not familiar to you. Judging from what Ara pointed to as the city of Vista, the unknown mark lies almost directly south of Destindeterre, and you know of no major settlements in that area.
This...Soranil, he is a great hero? Please do, tell me more. I would...like to hear of him, if you don't mind...
If he is in this area, maybe he can...help us, maybe? Let us know maybe of things in this part we should be aware of?
Sae then sits, and waits for an answer...
