So then Iroh was intentionally trying to isolate and raise/manipulate Zuko into becoming a harmonious candidate to inherit the fire-nation throne once deposed? Their entire time spent in Ba Sing Se has such new meaning!

Isn't that awfully profound of them? I refuse to believe it until I see it!

The episode was clearly meant to try and humanize Azula and the other chick a little more.

It felt like a bad teenage surfer movie.

But the animation was pretty damn good, and I liked the side plot with the assassin.

Been kind of a lackluster couple of episodes thus far with some attempt at regaining it this week.

Good: Roku's past as explained by Sozin and Roku both, as well as how the Avatar died and at least an attempt at justifying why Sozin did what he did.

Bad: "oh hay zuko, yeah im talking to you again and also roku is your greatgrandfather lol"

The episode after the story filler is pretty damn sweet. Actually, the next two are.

Regarding tonight's episode: Iroh finally gets a few lines and sounds nothing like Mako. It was unfortunate.

I got the impression that Iroh was giving Zuko the cold shoulder so that Zuko would realize that the way the fire nation was wasn't what he wanted anymore, or at least wasn't the way that it should be. Then he had the white lotus lead Zuko to the histories and set up the idea that he should seek out the Avatar for forgiveness. How Sozin was able to make a similar play on Ang at the same time is kind of strange though, but I guess that can be played off as Avatar Machina.

When will we see Aang and Sokka get it on with Katara and Toph respectively anyway? I am still waiting to see Katara's throbbing dick in Aang's bleeding pussy

Must Katara be such a cunny about this? At least teach bloodbending to Aang or something, who could instantly become super strong from it.

Haven't the prior episodes' ham-handed messages about feeling good about yourself and doing the right thing taught you anything?

There are lines you aren't supposed to cross, even in war! Bending someone's blood and taking away their free will is so totally a bad thing.

But since someone has to, let's make it the water-bender with the strongest moral leanings in the series.

Hopefully airbending will have some type of super special power like all the other ones, like the ability to combine atoms into any material or something
