Agreed.
Although a lot of the ships, and almost all scenes involving the alien combat were also CGI. Even then it was unobstrusive.
Disney just needs to accept the fact Treasure Planet failed because the story, and overall direction, of the movie just sucked and it had nothing to do with the laced CGI. Which was, as in Titan AE, mostly backdrop and some superficial structures (Although still more obstrusive than Titan AE)
