Function 6 on the Poketch. Hold stylus on Pokemon.
If no hearts pop up, it has no happiness. 1 heart = kinda happy, 2 hearts = more happy, 2 bulging hearts = ready to evolve. After 2 bulging hearts, go level it up. It should evolve.

Hah, I always wondered what that thing was for... I was always like, wth the girl gave me a lame Screensaver! I had tried tapping it to see if there was something I was missing, but that just makes them buzz... Never tried Holding the Stylus down. That helps.
And wtf after all this time it still only has 1 freaking heart.

No. Uxie and Azelf were not easy at fucking all. Quick Balls didn't work (or I was just unlucky), and even with one pixel of health left, AND paralyzed, Uxie shrugged off Ultra Balls like they were nothing. I finally got lucky with one. Azelf took MUCH fewer attempts, but I still caught it with a Timer Ball.
I may just say screw it and use my Master Ball on Mespirit; simply because I don't have a high enough Pokemon that knows or can know Mean Look except for a level 16 Gastly. Though, I could see if the Move tutor will teach it to the Haunter I got from that in-game trade...
And it's a runner, too.
Heatran was the toughest mon to actually catch so far though.

I can give you a Pichu Egg where the baby will know Thunder Wave, TShock, and Tbolt, as well as Charm.

I had not heard of those two until I read that, and just now reading what Serebii.net had to say. This semi-worthless Prima guide comes to a dead stop after the National Pokedex, and doesn't mention that island in the NE at all.
It's a shame it doesn't come out for another month. The first half is really in depth and well put together.

I make sure to keep them in the same egg group, Roselia + Carnivine, etc... Or do they HAVE to be the exact same species? I was under the impression just the same egg group (Which is how some pokemon can get moves outside of thier move pool.)Or do I just have to leave them in there to play with each other for a while, before they start to like each other?
Does anything else affect breeding?

They have to say at least "The two of them get along." If they don't, they never will. If you use two members of the same species (i.e. 2xPikachu) they will always at least get along. Not sure about different evolutionary stages meeting (i.e. Pikachu and Raichu) though I think one of my Ru/Sa Pichu's had my Raichu for it's mother.
So I take it the "Get Along" is below the "Don't like each other very much" option? Or was it a fluke?

Nope. I breed most anything with my cum dumpster (Ditto). I made some Pichus earlier (fuckers have a lot of Pokesex, before one egg hatches, I end up with 4 or 5 in my party). Right now, I'm making Mudkips. I also had an Infernape and a Machamp have angry fighting sex earlier, they popped out a Machop with Close Combat

Well, looking through my Ru/Sa guide, "Don't seem to like each other" was rated "Not Very Likely" in Egg Probability. (Get Along was "Somewhat Likely") Only way that will never get an egg is "They prefer to play with other Pokemon."
So, it just means your two decided bad sex was better than no sex.

If they're in incompatible egg groups, they will not breed. This is indicated by a "They seem to spend time with other pokemon" or some iteration of that phrase. You can check the egg groups on Serebii.net and don't forget that some monsters belong to multiple egg groups.
Also, the ultimate Pichu is one bred from a Pikachu holding a Light Ball. It's hatched with Volt Tackle, an Electric Double-Edge, which is a Pikachu-line only move.
