Just realized, I have the Limited Edtion, it was the only copy left on the shelf at the time, Does anyone know were these special items are supposed to be in the game?
At least I think that's what your talking about. I could be wrong. Alberd fucked around with this message on 11-05-2006 at 07:30 PM.

I dunno, I'm digging it so far, but then again, I'm a D&D fanboy.
Also, am I the only one who finds Qara to be an extremely annoying bitch?

No. She's the female Blackened.
Only two romances exist in the game, male characters can go for Elanee, female characters can go for Casavir.
That character with the "Pious" speechset is oddly amusing.
Sufice to say I casted negitive energy spells at her and left her for dead.... fucken whore.

You could always just tell her not to cast any spells under the behavior tab. It's really your own fault for letting the AI handle spellcasting on a character with a shitton of area effect spells like that.

Yeah, the AI is pretty terrible.
"Scaled" casting mode says it means they'll use the appropriate amount of spells for the challenge, but it actually means they'll use three fireballs on a single enemy.
If you choose "No spellcasting," it actually says that they won't use "many" spells...which translates to them using two fireballs on a single enemy.
So, basically, with casters, it's best to go Puppet Mode. Khelgar can go hog wild, though.
What I end up having trouble with is keeping healing potions around. I can't keep a single damned healing potion on any of my melee characters because as soon as they take damage, they guzzle every damned potion they have in their inventory.
I would suggest saveing the game in seperate save slot like every half hour or even less, so many fucking bugs still.

Not the mention that in cutscenes the planetouched look like they're falling asleep, constantly blinking and shaking their head like they're trying to stay awake or are quite insane.

Increase your paging file.
Qara is a complete sissynanny. Always take Khelgar.

You know, when you're in the house to get the informant, there are rogues all over the place and they're stealthed. Then you see them, go up and attack, and when they attack back (just one of them!), they slap you with a sneak attack for some insane reason.

Go to the video options and click auto detect. I did that and it runs smooth as butter for me (unless there are a LOT of things on screen but that's rare). Also make sure AA and AF are turned off.

Well, things like this are pretty much the reason why I never buy a Bioware/Obsidian game when it is first released anymore. NWN was buggy as hell, and I expected no less here. I'll probably pick up NWN2 once it's been out several months and has lots of patches.

Did both of these as suggested and still no difference at all. Even used the nVidia control panel to force AA and AF off and it didn't care.

When I do that it turns on all the high shafdows and shit. I don't have the greatest of cards, it is a 6200, but it should hanlde this game I would think. I mean indoors the game gets chuggtastic.
