Within the last 3 posts, I've seen 'stomach' spelled three different ways and only one of them is right. Who was correct, boys and girls?

Was it:

  1. Naimah, with his Gin & 'Stomic'?
  2. Fazumzen, with his 'Stomach' 3 Turbo by Gillette?
  3. Maradon, with his 'Stomac' n' Cheese?

Vote carefully!

How does one gain weight by eating only a little bit?
I've lost about 15 pounds since a nissen fundoplication surgery, and I can't eat big bites or eat as much as I used to. I've been drinking ensure a lot but it doesn't seem to be helping.

Do you mean by volume or by calories, nem-x? By volume, yes, eat big macs, dairy, and meat. Stuff from things on the top of the food chain basically. Calorically, you just have to lie around and do nothing all day and you can gain weight on a small amount of calories.

In other words stuff your face with cottage cheese. Unless you're lactose intolerant, in which case you can eat tuna in mayo or die. I got my wisdom teeth out last week and in the first 5 hours afterward I ate cottage cheese, applesauce, barbecue beef, and green olives. Then for dinner I had sweet & sour pork, orange chicken, chow mein, and a fortune cookie. I ate all of this without taking very large bites.

I can't eat sandwhiches very well, because it gets stuck in my throat. I have to cut steak into small pieces just so it can go down.

Oh yeah, Ensure isn't worth much calorically either. It's like a protein shake plus micronutrients. If you make shakes out of whole ice cream, protein powder, whole milk, and dextrose or maltodextrin, pretty soon you have a beverage with like 500 calories per glass.

Also, when you don't eat very much, your body goes "OMG, I dunno when I'm gonna get food again! I better hang onto this..." and goes into storage mode.

Yes, that's why I said "more frequent and smaller meals."
