You don't know any warriors with more than 4800 hp?Cause the most +dmg gear possible puts you around 1200 per shadowbolt
I hit 6k health right now in full tank gear. PvP gear has quite a bit less.

Maradon! had this to say about Tron:
No, I'm not actually. I'm just pointing out that warriors of all kinds can kill warlocks and are, in fact, the one of the best suited classes to do so.
quote:
I can't kill warriors in PVP. Other people (only warriors) claim that I should be able to.I even started a warrior in the hopes of learning their weaknesses, but at level 54 as an extremely poorly equipped MS warrior, I'm pretty certain I could kill me with ease, especially if I've got recklessness up.
If you're claiming your 54 warrior could beat your geared 60 warlock, then it sounds like you're calling warriors unstoppable.
However, that statement was probably more than a little sarcastic, and I'll just stop by saying Warlocks present the biggest problem to my Warrior just like Warriors present the biggest problem to your warlock. Sounds like it balances out well.
EDIT: Whoops, Shadow Priests are tougher. Taeldian fucked around with this message on 04-08-2006 at 03:31 PM.

Naj had this to say about John Romero:
I don't see how a Warrior can lose to a Warlock in a duel if the Warrior has AOE taunt up.Unless the Warrior is horribly outgeared of course D:
Uh... AE taunt?

Taunt the pet = The Warlock/Hunter can't tell it to stop attacking you.AKA you can't be frost trapped/seduced.
Woah... I never thought of that! Thanks!

You can be seduced (I've had her in attack mode for mobs she's seducing), she'll interrupt her attack for seduction, but you can't be trapped.

Delphi Aegis Model 2000 was programmed to say:

Doesn't work that way with a Warrior's taunt, tell a Warrior to use Challenging Shout/Mocking Blow/Taunt on your Succubus and see what happens when you try to seduce.

I play a druid, and rogues and warriors are easy...mages sometimes, but christ, I don't think its possible for a druid to kill a warlock either. Then again, I've never tried going resto and outlasting them; maybe that works :-/
I have a ton of trouble with cat form druids from good guilds. Generally, any class that can heal itself is a huge pain in the ass for me.
It's just a simple matter of knowing exactly what a class can do, what they're likely to do in response to what you do, and how to preemptively short circut their plans.
I've dueled mages who've been able to counterspell me at exactly the right time to turn me into a heap of dry kindling. Even with extensive macroing, controlling a felhound precisely is difficult and precision spell locking is absolutely necessary when fighting classes like mages and paladins. A lot of the time it's necessary to spell lock an instant cast spell, and to do that you HAVE to know when they're going to want to cast it.
Sure, it's rough, but there's enough places to slip in countermeasures if you look for them. Maradon! fucked around with this message on 04-08-2006 at 08:53 PM.
