If I'm going to be tanking, I'm going to be loading up on defense and parry anyway (as well as dodge and block). I don't see an extra 3% affecting much. Parry isn't very useful in PvP, either, as it does absolutely nothing against magic damage.

Neither does enrage.

Enrage gives me 25% extra damage from taking melee crits, though, and there's nothing saying I can't apply that 25% extra damage to a cloth caster. The faster I kill them, the less damage they end up dealing to me, and more importantly, my group. Extra parry chance doesn't help with this.

Enrage just says that it works off of being hit by a critical strike.
But it doesn't work on spell crits? /boggle

You answered your own question. Critical strike = melee crit.

I've never noticed an Enrage off a spell crit before.

Fight a mage, watch their frost bolt/fire bolt/pyro crit you, watch enrage light up. I didn't know these things were melee based

Strike = to hit.

Why should being struck with an axe or being struck with a magic snowball be any different?

Hay guys: According to Eyonix, the issue with UW (and I'm guessing SS, as well) turned out to be just a display bug. It's not displaying in the combat log, but you're still getting the rage.

There are still a few other bugs with the patch; for example, if a warrior with Deep Wounds and Flurry attacks a mob and crits, only one of the talents will activate, not both. Still, it's nice to know that our rage gen hasn't been gimped after all.

I think if I was still playing my warrior, I would much prefer the Unbridled Wrath bug to the bug which makes arguably the best fury build in the game pretty useless.

What bug is that?

If Flurry and Deep Wounds can't proc off the same crit, that kinda sucks considering 31fury/20arms is arguably one of the best builds. Losing flurry to a deep wounds even occasionally would stink. Especially with the new changes which mean flurry doesn't last nearly as long as it used to.

I really have no idea why they keep nerfing the Fury tree. It always was second to Arms... even moreso after all of these nerfs! It really hurts my brain when I try to comprehend it >.<

2H Fury spec can be one of the most damaging specs in the game. When you have Ashkandi at 30% haste you get tons of rage really fast, and Bloodthirst does almost as much damage as Mortal strike now. The difference between Obsidian Edged Blade Mortal Strike and Bloodthirst is 80 or so damage assuming you have good dps gear. Flurry takes care of that 80 damage by far.

Fury is the most gear dependent spec of the most gear dependent class.

So it needs tons of good gear to work, but if you have that gear holy shit look out.

Our main dps warrior is always second in dps meter behind our guild leader rogue.
This is his gear. There is still lots of upgrades for him out there.

This is the gear I am going for right now. So far I only have the neck, helm, and Blackhand. I started at it about 2 weeks ago so I'm slowly climbing there. But once I get this, I am very sure I will out dps our rogue.

I get the feeling I am never going to see that gear, though... most raiding guilds just drive me insane >.<
