Delphi Aegis probably says this to all the girls:
Generally, a pally killing someone is simply outlasting them. I know you little bastards can suck my mana down like nobody's buisness (Save hunters.. grr).

It's all gravy in the wash, though.

Avoid magic, disease and poison.
Curses are all we can't dispel.

But outlasting generally means that if the other person wants to, they can see it coming in time enough to escape.

Len, what level are you? I used to beat hunters pretty soundly, but now find myself having trouble. That's another thing to keep in mind if you're not 60, Paladins really decline in relative power as they level.

Dad's going to kill you. Really. He is.

There's a player-compiled list of blue responses on the general boards where a blue debunks the "June" patch date.

I'm hedging my bets on tomorrow, but I won't hold my breath.

Unforseen consequences. If not tomorrow, then give it a few more days.

38.

I was mainly dueling pre viper sting; I'm going to try using Viper instead of Serpent (to kill the Pally's mana) to cripple them, and allow me to kite them.

What's the recast on Cleanse, btw?

Grammar is your enemy! - While being able to understand someone's sentences might seem like a good idea for a proper essay, complaining on a forum scarcely leaves time for such trivialities. Write fast! You're angry, grrr! Make that show, and forget about things like capital letters, punctuation, and verbs.

No.

Probably a week or so to the patch.

Mod wrote this stupid crap:
We have sprint and vanish, both can be negated by dots, a snare or a speed boost of some kind to the attacker, thus forcing us to fight even though we are not getting the first hit in.

Maces are not a requirement or even particularly good for a stun-based rogue, if your target is standing stunned you might as well use a dagger for higher dps since after CSx2 and KS the diminishing returns will kick in on any proc you might get anyway.

For every warrior to have that many weapons which are all constantly near the cutting edge of their level range would require mobs to have dedicated loot slots for weapons in addition to the normal ones so non-weapon users can actually get some loot every once in a while. One one hand, shield and two-hand each you're near the level cap for is realistic, with the second and third one-hand and second two-hand lagging behind.

Two daggers are no better than dagger / sword or dagger / fist generally, you gain no advantage from your offhand being a dagger over an equal weapon of another type, this is why you see so few rogues with dual daggers around.

Well, wielding a sword is cool because you have sword mastery that goes with it, but for dual wield damage penalties, doesn't the damage penalty effect the damage of the weapon and not the DPS? Since daggers are the fastest weapons in the game, but do the least damage, they are one of the best choices for an offhand weapon, imo. (Without sword mastery, I mean.)

Daggers are definitely the best offhand weapons, generally, because faster weapon = more chance for poison proc = more damage.

The servers are getting very annoying

What he said.

Good part in your behalf is, Paladin will run out of mana faaster cleansing and being stung than you will stinging them. But as Lash pointed out, this is a higher end senario since Viper Sting (Its effective rank especially) comes at a much later time, and Paladin's effectiveness depreciates (See.. we cant sell Rosa at the dealership either, her blue book is crap. ) over time.

Shamans remain more effective in the long run than a Paladin does, but you can make short work of them with a little practice and learning Viper Sting. Beware Totem Entrapment... It sucks, and will make short work of you.

Any idea what posessed them to release the patch notes nearly 2 weeks ahead of time from the actual patch?

Well, there are other obvious answers...

The test server was going to go up soon after they released the notes, regardless. You would have heard about them soon enough anyways. So why not Blizzard releasing them to keep the proverbial carrot on the stick still out in front of the ignorant, unwashed masses?

Also, it's Blizzard. Everything they do is done in "Blizzard-Time", which is simply not the same as "Earth-time". They projected to have the test server up for one week (Earth time). Obviously that's no longer the case, as that projected one week was obviously a Blizzard-time eta.

Totem Entrapment?

Usually all I have to do to a hunter is keep them within range by using Frost Shock, and then pummel them to death with my hammer/axe. Love all the dorky night elf hunters that try to Wing Clip and move away.

Hey, Blackened-

How'd they buff the Greater Defense and Resistance potions (since I'm an alchemy fanboy)?

Greater Defense sold really well as is, haha (although jerks are lowering the price- DARN YOU PERFECT COMPETITION!).

Magic Resistance potions sucked because 30 seconds was meaningless for 30-60 magic resistance. If it was 2 minutes, or if the values were doubled, it'd rock (and might be broken).

I usually school Hunters.

Wingclip is better than an untalented Hamstring, but it's not enough to get the Hunter out of dead range. Odds are, once his Wing Clip wears off, so will your Hamstring, so we're right back at square one.

A talented Hamstring does as much speed damage as Wing Clip, and let's not forget our dear friend Intercept
