So will this update a few times as the day goes on? Or strictly as they close?
As they close and a winner is likely. The expected winner boxes are my own opinion, and won't change -- so you get to see how well I predicted.
Without a doubt, the three most important states are Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, known as FLOHPA. The candidate who takes two of these three states (all of which are too close to call an expected winner for) will more likely than not become President.
What do you think about Michigan? I keep hearing we are a battleground state on different networks, but MI generally goes blue, so I was surprised to see people saying how important our state was.
I know Kerry will be in Detroit sometime today if he isn't already.

More likely than not, Michigan will go Kerry; the polls have been leaning in that direction with consistency for a while now. But it's close enough that it's not completely certain (like, say, Illinois). If Kerry runs 2 states in FLOHPA, Michigan is one of the blue states that Bush will have to conquer to recover, since it's the fourth largest "battleground" state. I know who I'm voting for.

I predict it to be a strong Kerry win. Drysart fucked around with this message on 11-01-2004 at 03:43 PM.

Nevada is screwed either way. Both candidates want to dump all of America's nuclear waste on us.
Where else are we gonna put it?

Thank goodness our nuclear waste hasn't yet developed snooty personalities and accents.

If we do that, Pvednes and I want to set up a research station nearby to watch the mutations.

That was suprisingly painless. I noticed that there was both a Democratic and Republican challenger present. They were chatting about how they couldn't wear party-specific shirts that day.
