I own Hook Coast, man that one was a pain to buy (took a lot of time)

I have a theory on how to get to the dragon, its only a theory though, and could be wrong.

I was reading a book and it was talking about the northern wastes, and how there were spellcasters there (also believed its where jack of blades is from). It said that they would only awaken again once all of Albion fell under the rule of one man.

My theory is that once you own every buyable building in albion, the northernwastes will be unlocked. once again though, only a theory. I plan on owning everything anyway, its not too much of a disapointment if I'm wrong. (also might need to have the sword of Aeons)

I'm only worried when the voices in my head stop, because then I don't know what they're planning

How do you get enough money to buy all these houses?

buying and selling the marital home. I put in the jack's mask trophy and the trophy you get from beating the arena (can't recall the name) those are the two most valueable trophies. You put them in the house, then sell the house. I then busted down the door (I hate using lockpick everytime) took the trophies back, and then bought the house back for $4,500 less. It takes a while, but you do make money. the other way to make a lot of money (also takes time, and you may have to start a new game for it, is to use the arena hero save cheat.

You don't have to break down the door, you can just stand in the doorway when you sell the house and the door will remain open

Anybody know what the hexagon key is used for?
And what is the Jack of Blades doll used for, anything special?

.... ok... we need to have drys set up something for the newbies, someone rez parc's thread.

THe hex key is used in the hobb caves to open the door to the bottom chamber. THe jack doll is used in the hero doll quest in bowerstone south, its a passive quest, just get all 6 dolls and talk to the school teacher.

What an amazingly disappointing ending.

So, on my second attempt, I manage to kill Jack after spending some leftover Will exp to get Multi Arrow 1,2,3, and 4, which made the second part of the fight a piece of cake.

Being the good soul that I am, I cast the Sword of Aeons into the vortex. My sister says "I don't belong here. Toodles," and just WALKS OUT OF THE FRAME. Then comes the twenty minutes of credits.

Final Fantasy VII had a better ending. Top Gear Pocket 2 on my GBC had a better ending.

And what's this about not being able to do any more quests from the Guild after the ending? Bloody hell. I didn't do any of the optional quests because I thought I could do them after I'd killed Jack.

Well there've only been two Fable threads so far. No reason to try to milk a whole forum out of it.

Okay, I haven't figured out the dragon thing yet. However, I do have a theory, and will get back to you once I've attempted it.

my theory is that if you own every buyable building within the game, then techniqually, you rule all of Albion. One of the books mentions that there are ancient peoples within the northern wastes that will only awaken once all of Albion is once again under the rulership of one man.

One of the major problems with the game, (and something I find quite enjoyable) is that with certain things (namely the two temples) its hard to get consistant results between two different games.

interesting cheat: Assassin rush between the maps of Barrow fields and Grey house until there are no enemies on the grey house side (takes a little while) once there are no enemies on the grey house side, teleport to any town, and the people will be frozen and every building will be for sale. buy the buildings you want, then world save, and reload. the game will return to normal, but you'll have the houses you bought.

Note: you can go to many diferent towns in one go. If the people are frozen, but no buildings are for sale, just walk to the next map, and turn around and go back to the map you were on before (ie if no shop in bowerstone south is for sale, walk to bowerstone north, then walk back to south, if its north with the problem, walk back onto south then return to north)

Also, for some reason, not all the buyable buildings in oakvale will be for sale when you do this. you'll just have to get them the old fashioned way: kill everyone in the house, have them follow you out of town, or marry them.

Alright, the cellardoor behind the bowerstone tavern/inn, is there anyway to open it? Does it have any real significance?

And the whole Lady Grey killing her sister ordeal, is there anything the hero can do about this?

Okay, Mr CoolnamewishIwasthatcreative, let's educate.

First, as a member of this community (messageboard for those of you watching at home), I check up on all threads that get bumped because I get bored and it's fun to read things people say.

Second, and this is where it's important, so listen carefully, not everyone would like to know about you new people coming here asking questions like we're some kinda freakin help desk. So take your 'everyone' and shove it up your 'everything.'

Third, quite a few references to what throughout the game? This messageboard? I don't think so buddy. And a prima guide about dragons? Who gives a SHIT? Dragons aren't real - follow me here - not real. Or if they are, they're really good at hiding and don't want to be bothered. I choose not real. Your half-sentences make no sense.

Fourth and finally, if I had a chance to see what, would I? Probably not. Like I said, I wouldn't mind you people coming to this board and asking questions IF IT WASN'T THE ONLY THING YOU DID. Chat on other threads, introduce yourself, be a part of the throng. People who frequent here are welcome to ask questions and be amongst FRIENDS. Not people who show up every few days and just ask freakin Fable questions and leave again like we're a goddamn hintline when there's entire websites dedicated to that shit.

I care about this messageboard, you and your ilk obviously don't.

There is no dragon in game. It was removed quickly because there wasn't enough time to finish it, or remove it properly. THAT is why people have found texture files, animation files, dragon data, and other interesting bits in the game's files. If you have paid ANY attention to forums such as GameFAQs you would have found that while there is quite a bit of data on dragons in game, it isn't complete, meaning that the dragon encounter does not exist. Looking for it is nothing more than a waste of time.

That being said, it has been confirmed that there are secrets in game that no one has found yet. No one has managed to figure out how to open these secrets however, and there is no way of telling if the secret is huge (like the Naboo Starfighter in Star Wars: Rogue Squadron) or just a simple texture to look at.
