Many of you are spending way too much energy on Somthor. You keep attempting to teach him how to behave, yet he ignores you anyway. How long are you going to keep this up?
Granted, when Somthor is offending you (the comment about Bloodsage dropping bombs on civilians was very uncool), you have the right to stand up to such falsehoods and defend yourself. And most of you do that anyway. I for one don't want to see this ability to defend ourselves against such accusations go away from this board, from the USA, from our dealings with the world.
On the other hand, banning Somthor just because he's not conforming isn't right, either. It brings to my mind the segration that the USA used to have and lack of diversity that many of us young'uns no longer have to deal with. But then he's not learning from his mistakes either. While it's easier for one person to change than it is for many people to change; it's hard to force that change on any one person. Yet, I'd hate to see this board stoop to the lowest common denominator. While public education does a great job of that, it doesn't make it right.
But, ignoring Somthor isn't the answer either. I've been doing it for two days, and while the conversations are just hilarious without knowing what he's said, he's still not going away. He seems to feed off the negativity surrounding him as if he is craving for attention but since he doesn't get any positive attention -from any source-, he's feeding off all the negativity we give him.
So what's the answer? I don't know, Somthor is a strange bird, uh cat. I just keep hoping he'll just go away on his own.

The issues there were about insignificant things that couldn't be helped.
