A valid argument. Mistakes were made, but a person should never assume something of this nature is not being told to them in confidence.
If one of my best friends told me she got date raped (for example. I'm not trying to draw a parallel), I certianlly wouldn't make my first course of action telling all my friends about the incident. I think it shows a very serious lapse in judgement to do so, without either permission from or a fear for the well being of the victim.

People talk. People gossip. It's an undeniable fact. Most people will spread news as soon as they can unless told "Don't tell anybody"
and it has nothing to do with it being Kekvit or Em. It could be anyone. If *I* made the video and sent it to say... Alleria, whom I barely talk too, news would spread and you'd all be calling for my blood and head on a plate as well.
Thats just the nature of this place.

If you want to get technical, my friend's money spending on a net whore was something he bragged about to many people. He had links to pictures of her on his website, all saying stuff like "My little cutie." Had he come to me with embarrissment and anger about how he had been taken advantage of, I wouldn't have posted anything.
If you recall, the thing about that situation that made me the angrist is that he had no idea he was being taken advantage of and was completely under her rapture.

Kekvit was wrong to send something sexual to a minor. He does make bad decisions sometimes. He needs to watch himself around women more.
But Kekvit isn't the only one in the wrong here, and that was my only point. He's not the monster people are trying to make him out to be. Em did something wrong, too. Whatever he may have been in the past, he is not that person any longer. He would not do something like this without provocation, and it was that certainty that led me to start digging about it. I talk to him nearly every day, he's hung out in my channel, and Deth has even *met* him. We know him a lot better, I imagine, than anyone around here. And we are both of the mind that there is more to this than just "Kekvit sent a video that Em didn't want".

In the legal system, neighborhoods that a sexual predator moves into are warned of the perp's past. As we can see, he had already begun to move in on Alleria. This needed to be said.
I can guarantee you if he had told Lyinar, she would quietly sweep it under the rug and hope it remains there. Anybody is innocent if they're your friend, right?
I saw the log. In Kekvit's mind, perhaps it was flirting. But that doesn't excuse it at all. Not by a longshot. If a girl winks at me or flashes me a smile or even says "You're cute", I'm not going to whip my dick out and wave it in her face.
Maybe that's logical in Kekvit's twisted mind, but not in the eyes of the public and not in the eyes of the law. That's preying on a minor, pure and simple. And Kekvit is FAR more at fault than anyone else. Maybe since he hasn't spoken to a woman in years, a friendly chat means he's being seduced, but the rest of us know better.
You can't bring up Emmy's history of being flirtatious without bringing up Kekvit's history, which we all know all too well. Now, bring up their crimes one by one, and tell me which is worse. If you think child molestation is better than being overly friendly with someone, you might have the same issues as Kekvit.
And I don't buy the whole: "Not my problem, let's stay out of it" excuse. Emmy is my friend. Friends look out for friends. I look out for my friends. I did it in the past and I will do it now, despite whatever anyone may think or say.
And what he did doesn't just equate to "watching himself around women more." This is the SECOND time he's sexually harrassed a minor of the board. And one of the countless times he's harrassed a board member.
How many times are we just going to let it slide and let him know it's okay to keep this bullshit up? I'm sick of it. I'm sick of him harrassing my friends. I'm sick of him playing the victim when he sexually assaults people and getting others to stand up for him while he chooses his next target.
The boards should be a safe haven from RL crimes. Theft, personal threats, and sexual harrassment count as that.
