The first one I tried to play was Doom. But it wouldn't work on my first PC (386 with 2 MB of ram, Doom required 4 MB). So I played Wolfenstein 3D instead.

Otherwise, Doom, Hexen, Heretic, all those.

Wolfenstein 3d was the first FPS I really ever saw. Duke Nukem was the first I ever really played.
I was in the Virgin Islands once. I met a girl, we ate lobster, drank piña coladas. At sunset, we made love like sea otters. That was a pretty good day. Why couldn't I get that day over, and over?

Dynamix? That would be EarthSiege or something like that.... it's been a while. Cheap ripoff of Mechwarrior.

Wolf 3D. Ive had a computer for as long as I remember, and that was one of the first games I had.

And Ultima Underworld 2 was an awesome game. I remember getting my first sound card, and it was so awesome. You could hear your foot steps, the sword swinging..

The memories..

Operation WOLF and the like are not true FPS games because you're not in control of the character, you're just shooting things. Basically an updated shooting gallery.

It was either Wolf3d, Doom, or some game that the guy blasted his head off every time you quit.

Though, that might've been Wolf3d. It's been so long, I don't have any idea.

The first one that I really cared about or had fun plaing was Fire Arms.

The random quit messages in Wolf3d ruled. And one of them was about committing suicide or something like that.
