I've made a promise to myself to keep my virginity until after I graduate from college because due to the extreme paranoia I have, I do not want to deal with the fear of pregnancy while still being educated. It also helps me because incase if I do get pregnant, by that time I should be able to help raise the child on my own if the partner I had decides to leave. If I do get pregnant, I'm not planning on getting an abortion.

For me, the first time was quite pleasurable I'd say also. The mishaps and such only made it more fun IMHO. I guess I was lucky like that. It wasn't the best I've had and, like Karnaj said, I thought "Whoa. Why did I think sex was the end-all, be-all of human existence?", but it was still fun.

Sex is a part of being human. Yes we attach emotional meaning to it. But on a physical level our bodies are meant to do it.

The next time (I had sex) was from 17-19, with my 2 year girlfriend. Only bad thing about having sex at 13, is telling your girlfriend a few years later. (None of this really matters once outta high school though). Anyways, she was in fear of pregnacy and such, but had sex anyways. (Well, after we had a chance to talk about it and overcome any fears and paranoia that both of us had). It was great, however, it also changed our relationship. I still wonder if life together went down hill from that point on. Even though I did want to marry her, we she broke up with me, and thus, I am not looking to have sex anytime soon.
One last thing, I felt extreamly emotional and close to her because of sex. Something that I did not feel before it, because of which, now that we are sepearted, I feel I left a part of my heart behind.

Mostly due to distance. I want my first time to be with someone I love, someone I can look back on... and hopefully forward to... and smile at the thought. Right now, there's only one person who fits that criteria, and he kinda lives in California. So... more like distance. Plus... I'd feel like I was betraying him. I've screwed up often enough to know what it feels like and know I don't want to go there voluntarily again... so I'm keeping it for now, even though my groin wants to jump all over everything. (now THERE'S a scary mental image. A little shop of horrors-esque man-eating plant scene, except it's not a plant, it's a... yeah.)
It was fun, something I still think back on fondly, and good experiance for those who might come in the future.
