This makes no sense whatsoever.
I could say that most PC users could not build a PC. This would be accurate of Most PC users. But not accurate of the people here at EC where most probably could.

You are taking a statement made about a larger group and trying to apply it to a much smaller, speacialized group.

I feel so unloved. Azizza completely ignored my post with the proof of him being a hypocrite.

Sucks being right so often. Really. You should be thankful you're always wrong. I hate being right all the time.

You smell that? Do you smell that? ...Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory.

I have friends in that age group as well. Some of them fit the description and some don't. More and more seem to just not care. All of them? No. but a good number and growing every day.

I'm not debating the accuracy of your origional statements. There's enough people doing that allready.

What I'm trying to point out is that you've stated something that might be taken as an insult to some of the posters and their friends. They will fire back, just as you do when you feel insulted and attacked (see this thread for examples).

On a topic like this, with a statement like that, you should expect things to get heated up. Please don't act suprised when it happens.

Am I, now? Those two are completely different. EC is a very computer literate group, not a group for hyperactive people. You made a statement about how people just sit in front of their electronic equipment, and that this is lazy.

Try again.

Whatever happened to the days when we could just sit on the porch and polish our boomsticks while mama cooked the possum we just ran over?

Whatever happened to the days when we could lie about how many lesbians we've converted and how many women we've had in the sack to assuage our own insecurities?

Whatever happened to the days when we could kick the crap out of any Muslim we saw walking down the street to help our brothers in Israel?

Whatever happened to the days when children were made into men by how many creatures they killed and not how much fancy-schmancy schoolin' they done had?

And whatever happened to the days when we could say anything and have people rally behind us faithfully without having to deal with the liberalist bullshit?

Azizza remembers those days...

Shouldn't you, too?

There you go insulting people again, all while saying you don't insult people who disagree with you!

All while failing to address your hypocrisy for which I have given the examples you asked.

But... since Azizza said you haven't done anything right since you were in diapers, doesn't that void any arguments you try to display, as they are automatically wrong?

I am through with this thread. No I did not initially point to anyone on this board. However once again many of you have proven that no matter your physical age you have the mental state of a gradeschool bully. I can't decide sometimes if I should laugh or just shake my head at it all.

It never ceases to amaze me that I can post on about a half dozen boards with some frequency and only here do I see so many posts in general degrade to flamewars and name calling. There is no place in the real world where people like Parce and Snoota are looked up to like they are here. I mean I am sure they are happy working at McDonalds or some equally wonderful job, and I am sure it is the wonderful personalities that they have that has granted them such coveted positions.

I am sure others are happy to sit in front of thier computer all day long and never leave it. However those people are not the kind of people we want running this world.

If you are goig to bitch about the state of the world you had better know more about it than what you see on TV or CNNs web site.

And perhaps that is the root of my anger. People who know nothig about the world. Have not bothered to be a part of it. They then come out of thier dark computer room just long enough to complain and then scurry back away. Does this Apply to EC? For some people yes. Not all but some. We have an interesting mix here. One I have enjoyed being a part of MOST of the time.

However we do have some people who need a real reality check.
