Black Mage had this to say about Pirotess:
Am I the only one who acknowledges this as a bad thing but is emotionally hardly affected by this? Now, I don't mean to start any flames, or the like, but I just don't find myself moved, or touched, or really at all saddened by this. People die everyday, and most of them have families. And the way I see it, when you strap yourself to a rocket headed towards outerspace, you're taking some certain risks. The possibility of dying comes with the job description. (Not that it should.)
I agree with BM.

Ja'Deth Issar Ka'bael had this to say about Knight Rider:
Eh...there's only so much you can refit an outdated design. I could refit a 69 Stingray all I wanted with different dials, better brakes, etc, but it's still a 69 Stingray.
And there's nothing wrong with that!

A sleep deprived Ja'Deth Issar Ka'bael stammered:

This was only Columbia's 28th mission. From what I understand, Columbia wasn't used for many missions (including all ISS stuff) because it was simply heavier than the newer shuttles so it couldn't be launched into as high of an orbit.

4 shuttles, each with more than 25 missions under their belt = >100 missions
Sorry I wasn't more specific.

Delphi Aegis spewed forth this undeniable truth:
And for the record: The computer onboard the shuttles is 25 years old. In otherwords, your pocket calculator has more computing power then the entire shuttle itself (Aside any laptops they bring. )One desktop computer could replace ALL computers on the shuttle, be lighter, and be more user friendly (So to speak) then the one they have now. Unfortunatly, the one they have now is all the 'nauts have trained on, so they don't want to have to REtrain them. Oi.
Not anymore. Columbia and Atlantis had gone through an avionics upgrade that replaced the old "steam gauge" setup with a honeywell glass cockpit.

nono, each shuttle is good for 100 missions.
another problem here is that it was assumed that there would be an entire fleet of shuttles. funding funding funding

They're each spec'ed for 100 missions (400 total for four shuttles), but the total number of missions is only just over 100.

But I'll take what I can get.
