First, to continue the analogy you've chosen to misinterpret, there is a huge difference between a competent singer who's chosen a song you don't care for, and some random idiot caterwauling with so little regard for musical values Yoko Ono would be embarrassed.
In the first instance, it's acceptable simply to leave, since the problem is internal to you. In the latter, booing--or cricket-chirping silence--is acceptable, since the problem is with the poor performer. {Add: to counter the obviously flawed "Lyinar defense" to this raised earlier, no I'm not the one up there--because, like the other person, I don't have sufficient skill. The wanton desire to display one's incompetence to the world is hardly sufficient grounds for either admiration or sympathy.}

Second, you've got a rather odd definition of bigotry. Neither Webster's nor Random House nor dictionary.com agree with you. You weren't worth the time to consult the OED, given the conclusive nature of a preliminary search. Normally, it applies to blanket intolerance based upon group memberiship.
The way you've used it, anyone who disagrees with anyone else is a bigot.
My flame of 'Deth was individually motivated, inspired by a specific action, and castigated particular behaviors. Hardly the definition of bigotry. I may or may not have been correct, but I was hardly painting a large group with a generic brush.
On the other hand, consider those to whom I referred as bigoted, and why. Clearly, labeling all jocks or popular people the way some had done, was an expression of bigotry. A look back will reveal at least on person using that blind prejudice as an excuse to claim superiority to an entire class of people.

Third, this isn't the last thread, as you'd have noticed if you looked at what sparked this flamefest. The issue here is being unwilling to let an issue drop, and--like some pouting little child--bringing it up at every opportunity simply to ruin everyone else's fun until--again, like a bratty little child--everyone caves in.
That kind of behavior is unacceptable. Regardless which side of the other dispute one is on.
