Obviously, my career at Evercrest has not been a happy, joyous one. In the beginning, I was just an asshole, and now I'm paying for it. I go by many names, such as "Spaz," "KUNG FOO," and "Fucktard." I'm well known as the heartless dumbass who always talks about martial arts. I could delve deeper into my anger and tell you how ironical you people act, but I'm putting that on hold as that's not the ultimate situation at hand here. Back to the former subject, here's how my day goes.

I was thinking about going into that "I'm a person, too," crap, but no one cares about that, because you hate me anyway. However, I will ask you this. What would you do if you had to wake up every morning to get punched in the nuts by a group of people, one by one? You'd be pissed, or if you're a wuss, you'd accept it. You see, I'm pissed.

I see a community or a family of friends in Evercrest, and that's why I come here just about every day. It gives me something to do. Truly nothing comes without a price. Not naming any names, I'm tired of people's smartassness towards me, and pretending that my opinion or interest don't mean jack shit because I'm a young teenager. If Evercrest were a family, I'd be the abused child.

It's been like this, ever since the very beginning. It must be my fault, because everyone else seems to get along with each other just fine. Except for... a few. What's funny is that all of your hatred came from me saying Rune was an excellent game. (That was back when Yam was still around.) I mean, what the fuck? Some of you even joined after that period and still hated me. What's with that?

Because of this, I feel more and more excluded from the Evercrest community by day. I've been here since, what, November 2000? I can't honestly say that it's passed quickly. The first time I saw that, I was confused. Despite my time on the boards, not one person has ever pretended to be my friend. Unless, that is, you call a friend someone who takes me being correct in an argument as an insult.

Fast forward to now. I was just in IRC, and I was just doing the normal talk thing. I said that I was testing for my black belt in Tae Kwon Do soon, and right off the bat people tried to put on the hurt. Once again, leaving people anonymous, basically they sarcastically spoke of me godmoding real life. So I was just playing along, you know. Then the adults came in with their "I think the collective intelligence of the room has dropped," bit, because, you know, obviously you're smart if you think you are. So they got bored and started talking about ergonomics or national defense programs or whatever the hell they talk about when I'm not around, when I'm told to go away. I ask, for how long? He says, until I die. So he explains, and it seems from the context of his message that these facts hold true, if he is correct:

1.) He sure as fuck hates me
2.) Everyone here sure as fuck hates me
3.) I sure as fuck get on everyone's nerves
4.) I should leave not only IRC, but the board, too. Forever.

This comes as no big surprise to me. I was kind of subconsciously expecting this for a long time.

So I'll say this. I'm a big asshole, and to me, you're no better. I would offer a truce, but I don't really give a steaming shit anymore. It doesn't seem like any of you like me, and it sure seems like more of you hate me than stand neutral. So I ask you this, seriously. How many of you would like to see me gone? I'm sick and tired of putting up with this bullshit, and obviously you're tired of mine. I guess things will never change because you people are too busy misunderstanding (I know, Maradon-speak.) to make things happen. This leaves me with two options:

1.) Stay here and take your bullshit so I can maybe pass some time
2.) Leave this hell hole and never have to see any of you again

Well, I'm even angrier now than I was at the start of this message, now that I reflect on the situation. It's really too bad. Maybe if you gave me a chance in the beginning, I wouldn't be such a pissant fuck.

This isn't a goodbye message. Yet. I still need your input, remember? So what will it be?

As I've said before, EC always needs someone to pick on, and it should stop.

Seriously, it's not our job to cater to you. If a lot of people are hating you, you're probably giving them a reason to do such.

I don't want to see you go. I want to see you shape up and become an upright citizen of EverCrest.

In other words...

-I want to see you judge a game by something other than its inclusion/lack of martial arts.

-I want to see you stop gloating about your martial arts.

-I want to see you stop talking about martial arts for a good while.

-I want to see you stop acting like an acne-ridden, pasty 13 year-old jackass.

-I want to see you act a tad more mature...when it comes to serious matters. Feel free to doink around if its in the name of comedy.

That pretty much sums up what would make me hate you less.

Personally, I care fuck-all if you stay or leave. Just stop being annoying.

Next time you come to us whining about how everyone hates you because you're a moronic jackass, remind me to laugh.

No, I wouldn't mind at all if you got out of the community and went back to bragging to your mirror about how 1337 your kung foo is.

And perhaps, when you find another community that can tolerate gasbagging punks that have yet to hit puberty as long as we did with you, you'll remember not to come asking for input and help while at the same time delivering half-assed insults in an equally half-assed attempt to look somewhat intelligent.

As far as you go I have to say count me as neutral, however I defiantely dont see you as any kind of annoyance or troublsome shady character. As far as EQ goes, why dont you come over to my server and we can chill.

As far as talking about martial arts in game, if you overplay it you get bad feedback, and beyond that it generally is bad to referance RL in game because people play EQ, on a large scale, to get away from RL for awhile.

As for the people who are giving you shit, well step forward, state your case, the house will hear you now.

I can count my own enemies on this board, shit happens, personalities clash, thats the way it is, It seems im awfully abrasive when posting and people like to pick me as a rant target when i step my foot in the door, I dont always mean to make a jab at someone, but alot of times they take It as one.

Lay off the Kung-Fu talk (everybody's been saying that anyway).
Try not to be a smart-ass for awhile...some people can do that right off the bat, but seeing as how you've already made a name, making smart-ass comments alot is going to get some hypersensitive people on you. They'll take them seriously because of your past.

It'll take a long time to get people to leave you alone...I know what that's like, now, and when I first joined...when I first joined, in a way, I earned what I got...but it continued for almost a year (I still get comments every now and then) after I stopped what I was doing...which was being a really immature 13-year-old girl.

Hehe, I kinda have the same problems with a few guys IRL, but eh. Good luck in changing you ways, I know it's not exactly easy to do something like that. And stick around.

Oh, and I bet I'm smarter than a lot of people who post on this board. But does that regard actually add or detract from the comments I make? Honestly, there are people who are smarter than others in this world. Some of those people go around bragging about it, which is fine since we have something called "rational faculties" that allow us to ignore them (my personal choice). Others of those people don't "brag" about it, because they really don't care what other people do or do not think about them.

That said, and this goes in clear contradiction to the point I was making in the previous paragraph, anytime someone posts on this board, they have the intention for others to read it. That said, any remark about one's personal prowess in a particular field of human ability was posted so that others would, in theory, believe them. The motivation for this is different for different people, but the question is the same: Why would you post that you have X skill, other than to let people know you have X skill, if you don't want them to respect your opinion for it. My posting "I'm smarter" doesn't (a) make me so, nor does it (b) make my arguments any more credible. So why post anything regarding the skill you have, other than to simply make the point you had in the first place? (Hence the contradiction.... or is it?)

So now we boil down the the real point of this inane rambling... sure, we post so that others can read it, but we want others to read it for our own satisfaction. If we post a joke, its so that others will laugh, and from that, we derive satisfaction. If we post a rant, it is so that others may read it, and agree. If we post a troll, it is so that others will read it, and strongly disagree and agree, and thus we supposedly gain satisfaction. If we post a "brag" it is so that others may read it, and respect us for it.

Why would we want people to respect us for what we claim to be true? The only possible motivation that I can see, is because that person is insecure in their respect for themself.

Ergo, I think you are an insecure person. Work on it a bit.
