Theoretically, Charm and Mesmerize.

But, thats just theory You can go all 8 minutes of a charm on 1 CHA.

And Fear is not affected by lower charisma, this is a fact.

Grammar is your enemy! - While being able to understand someone's sentences might seem like a good idea for a proper essay, complaining on a forum scarcely leaves time for such trivialities. Write fast! You're angry, grrr! Make that show, and forget about things like capital letters, punctuation, and verbs.

Charm and mesmerization spells are the obvious types. Also, charisma effects fear based spelss and skills, engatively (low charisma actually helps fear work better).

Here's a good lore question: What was the name of the dragon whose coprse is in the Field of Bone?

Um... hard to prove a negative... but I've actually seen it in action by a SK who verified that his fear spells actually do work more often, and longer, with lower charisma. Maybe they changed that since then...

As for charm and mesmerize, I believe that charisma only affects the chance of it succesfully working, not the duration.

Before you correct me on this, I've never checked this first hand, only heard it from other players (although I have seen the fear test in action, although it may be just have been coincidence that the fear worked more often). But this is the logical way charisma should work... although logic doesn't always apply in EQ...

But if charisma doesn't really affect charm and fear, that the only use of charisma is to get better prices... making it a nearly useless stat then, hm? If charisma doesn't work this way, it should.

There are a lot of Dragon corpses in the Field of Bone. The Field of Bone was the sight of the final battle between Dragon and Iksar, where both leaders perished. Jaled Dar just happens to be the only one Verant decided to give a name in the histories.

But I have a question of my own! WHY WAS I NAMED AS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT NOT TO DO IN EVERY OTHER RULE? <cry>

And the award for most suspense leading up to an incorrect answer is.. RPC! Phara Dar had nothing to do with Trakanon's trechery, and they were OPENLY married. Not just 'involved'. They were mates. Because Trakanon, before rotting for a few hundred years had a bad effect on his skin, was a blue Dragon like Jaled and Phara. Trakanon was the next in line for the rulership of Veeshan's Peak, since he was the next male. He decided to step up the pace a little, since Dragons have notoriously long lives and Jaled wasn't interested in fighting anything that might abruptly end it, and started a war between the Iksars and Dragons in the hopes that Jaled would perish. After his trechery was found out Phara Dar cursed him and banished him to the ruins of Sebilis, where he used Necromantic arts to keep himself alive. Jaled Dar even calls out to his daughter for comfort in Dragon Necropolis if you stay in the zone long enough to hear the shouts. And I have spent more time in that zone than I care to. =/

You smell that? Do you smell that? ...Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory.

There are many remains of dragons in the Field of Bone... but only one fully intact dragon skeleton, you're right, that is Jalad Dar. Significant in that he was a rival of Trakanon (although openly Trakanon was his friend, he was obviously plotting against him at some point)... it is believed this was it least one of Trakanon's motives in provoking the war with the iksar. It's also one of the leading factors that led to Trakanon being ejected from the Ring of Scale. Among others, of course... I believe there is a ghost of a dragon that still harbors a grudge against Trakanon for eating his corpse, thus denying him eternal rest. This ghost wants you to kill Trakanon for him (correct me if I'm worng, but I believe this is the quest, or part of the quest, that gets you the key to Veeshan's Peak.) Anyway, it's needless to say that Trakanon is dracona non gratis among any living (and many dead) dragons.

No bones in the FoB are Jaled'Dar. Jaled'Dars body was being transported to (somewhere) and on the way there it was attacked and half eaten, thus never giving him his eternal rest. Jalad's ghost resides in Dragon Necropolis, where to today he seeks vengance against Trakanon...

Depends what you mean by "trainable." If you mean you can put practice points in to them, 21. If you mean you can actively call them up, dodge wouldn't count, since it's called up automatically when you're attacked. Dual wield is a grey area, you don't actively call it up, but you have to equip yourself to dual wield (with monks and beastlords, fists are counted as weapons, so a monk is always dual wielding unless he has a 2hb weapon equipped). Offense and defense definitiely don't count either way... you can't actively call them up, they're automatic, and you can't put training points into them. So the answer is either 20 or 21, depending on your defintion of trainable. I assume you don't want to count languages as skills... human monks start with 1 language (Common) so can train in 23 others... iksars start with 3 (Common, Lizardman, Dark Speech) so could train in another 21. I decided not to count languages though. (by the way, the only difference between iksar and human monk skills is that at 25, human monks get dragon punch, but iksar monks get tail rake; well actually iksars also get forage at level 1, to a skill of 50, as a result of their race, but it isn't a trainable skill, iksars can never raise foraging skill above 50, same as wood elf warriors.)

Weapon skills: 1hb, 2hb, h2h, dual wield

Offensive skills: kick, throwing

Defensive skills: Bind wound, mend, dodge

General skills: Alcohol tolerance, sense heading, swimming, begging, fishing

Trade skills: baking, blacksmithing, brewing, fletching, pottery, tailoring, jewelcraft

Skills monks have at 1, but aren't trainable, (in the sense you can't put practice points in to them): offense, defense.

Ha, people might say I don't know anything about the high end game, but I know the low end pretty well!

OK here's my question: What deities (of the major Norrathian pantheon) do not have clerics among the playable races? (Hint: there are 4 of them.)

Sorry, wrong... Erudites can be clerics of Cazic Thule (they start in Paineel if they're CT clerics, same as erudite necros and SKs). Tribunal's right, Veeshan's right (although monks can also worship Veeshan on Sullon Zek). The two you missed were Solusek Ro (wizards and bards only) and Rallos Zek (RZ has clerics among the goblins and giants but none among the playable races).

Black sash I believe you can only get by killing Puab Closk, the guildleader of the Freeport monks. Black headband requires killing the guildmaster of the Qeyons monks (whose name escapes me at the moment). Last time I checked, any sash past red and any headband past purple can not be quested for, you have to kill certain monks to get them (although a Qeynos monk at the guild mentioned he hands out a quest for the blue headband... but couldn't get him to respond to a question about it... I'm not sure if the blue headband quest actually exists or not, but they're definitely isn't one for the black one). Few people ever bother getting the black belt and sash, because by the time you can take on the guildmasters, you probably have something better anyway. They're reall only good for bragging rights, the stats aren't very good in proportion the difficulty in getting them.

OK, since you missed Cazic Thule as having clerics, here's an easy one about Cazic-Thule... what are all the races that can worship him?

I know Tumpy makes Tumpy tonics (can also just brew them yourself, using the same two ingredeints, the kiola nut and a flask of water, that Tumpy asks you to give him for a Tumpy Tonic, but it trivs at 135), that Trantor Everhot likes and wants you to get for him (part of the Trueshot Longbow quest), but I wasn't aware Tumpy ever specified his own preference.
