More along the lines of "Do anime-style catgirls always look like that?" And the answer to that one is a fairly solid yes; the only real exception I can think of is from a single series, Escaflone.
And I think that would have a lot more to do with anime's ideas of creative nudity than an implication on furries and their ideas. 
Yes, anime catgirls are often skimpily dressed, but you could say pretty much the same thing for anime girls as a whole.
And as a sidenote, I actually do enjoy anime quite a bit. However, I've watched enough to know that some of the stereotypes aren't entirely untrue. [ 12-17-2001: Message edited by: Chalesm ]

ANYWAY back to what i was doing
I like drawing anthros mainly because I like animals better then humans.. and if you think about it, "anthro art" has been around for a few thousands of years, just under different terminology.. granted not like how most draw it today, but still.
