Yes, I do! It's called being the paying customer, I have every right to complain about the product I'm paying for. I'm not saying I'm going to cancel my account; I'm mad, but not THAT mad. But I have every right to complain about what I'm paying for.

The blob is nice yes. BUT the new models are something new, and they are still elementals. as was already said, elementals in D&D and in most other places are bulky slightly humanoid figures

News flash: In case I missed something, this expansion is Everquest: Shadows of Luclin. Not Dungeons & Dragons: Shadows of Luclin. If I wanted elementals to look they do in D&D, I'd be playing D&D right now instead of Everquest. Everquest's elementals had a unique look to them, which set them apart as something more than just a clone of D&D characters. Now they gave that up.
And so what if I haven't played a magician for 55+ levels? I'll still have to LOOK at the elementals all the time. And eventually my enchanter will have the ability to look like one; was hoping not to look like some D&D rip-off but something uniquely EQ.
New isn't always better. And I like the way pets move now. They should have left well enough alone. Give the existing models more detail, like having flowing water in the water pet, burning fire in the fire pet, etc. And if I don't like the way they look standing still, what makes you think they'll look any better while moving? Unless they're going away so you don't have to see them...
Like I said, they look good, well detailed, and all that. But they don't look like EQ elementals anymore. They lost one of the things that made EQ distinctive. [ 12-04-2001: Message edited by: Troodon ]
