LOL!

I admit, I loved them. Very easy to read. I consider it "light reading"--because of the general state of mind and that they're easy to read.

Oh, absolutely, Ferret. Roald Dahl is completely superior in every way. But you do have to admit that she writes in the same style.

I love Terry Pratchett. He's my favorite author. And I enjoy Piers Anthony, but not as much.

I'm very fond of Piers Anthony.

Xanth and the Incantations of Immortality are both excellent series.

Though I must admit, I haven't picked up a new Xanth book in awhile. Hm, guess I'll need to do that sometime.

I haven't read the Harry Potter books yet, and I don't think I will. If I like them, they will be finished too quick (I read really fast if I like the book). If I don't like them, then they will be a waste of money.

What suprises me is that nobody has mentioned MY favorate j books, The Chronicles of Narnia.

I believe in the existance of magic, not because I have seen proof of its existance, but because I refuse to live in a world where it does not exist.

Those are good too. How bout "the Dark is Rising" by Susan Cooper. Those are great too, magic, druids, King Arthur..what more can you ask for.
