We haven't had one for years. Post whatever you're driving right now.

I'm currently in an MG TF160. It's European blue an aquired taste. Goes like shit on a stick and zips around corners at arrestable speeds. 160BHP on a chassis that I could pick up off the ground myself, put your foot down and it's like oh god shit g-force is crushing my bones. MG is out of business so it's hard to find parts and servicing, but who the hell cares when you can get a sportscar for £3k ($6k). Just go to junkyards and breakers yards for your parts. 44 miles to the gallon too, best engine ever, pity MG-Rover fucked things up on the management/production side and went out of business, the actual engineering was second-to-none.

It's an '02 plate with 22k miles on the clock.

FYI, you can't fit in this if you're over 6ft tall.

Where does the wind up key go?

Just kidding... but for some reason, sports cars always look like they need a crank key to me for some reason...

But I drive a toyota camry, so I really have no position of aloofness to speak from.

This fact alone has kept me out of a lot of fun to drive cars for any length of time.

That's a damned nice car though, Mort.

it helps that the nation is like, 50 miles long and the sports cars get 44 miles to the gallon.

It's just handy.

He was talking about Mort's picture, because you know, they pay by the litre. And they pay a lot for said litre. And theres like 20 cars in his pictures.

Fuel costs here are getting fucking rediculous now.

Currently they stand at around £1.14 ($2.28 or whatever) per litre.

Considering they were just over £1 no more than a month ago, it's nuts. I can remember when it was 90p or so, couple of years back. My dad can remember when it was 10p.

Yeah, which was comedy gold when we picked him up on it.

Still a god-awful car. All muscle and grunt, no staying power, no style, no fuel.

.. and it has a A NOSE.

Still driving my 99 Mustang, in great condition, though my hoods cracked a bit at the front rim cause of some moron in a truck backing in to it pulling out of their parallel spot.

It gets some freakish MPG though, I can't explain it. I've gone almost a complete 380~ mile round trip on a single tank. 4/5ths or so on the way back I decided to fill up before some trouble happened on the highway.

Old photo, shortly after I got it.

I won't keep the MG TF160 for long, even though it's one of the last great British roadsters, it's just too unreliable. That's British sportscars through-and-through though; amazing engineering but they fall to bits because of retarded management cutting costs in their production. I'll sell it after a year working in Libya and use my ill-gotten gains to buy this or something very similar to it.

TVR's are British-made too, or at least they used to be before that jackass Russian idiot bought the company and run it into the ground. Gorgeous cars though.

But some days (like today) when work requires a different surveillance vehicle, we switch and I get to drive the monster:

You forgot the part where it died in North Dakota and you had to spend three days on several trains just to reach school in time.

I got my 2008 Civic about a month ago. Drives great. The only problem is the...viewport? is small and the rear view mirror is lower than it needs to be. Though it may be because I drive a UPS truck for 10 hours a day and can see practically everything out of it.

Actually, yes, I do.

Because I save hundreds of dollars per month in fuel costs.

Which means I can buy hundreds of dollars worth of more beer. Beer which impairs my ability to drive, so I don't use my truck anyway. It all fits together! I call it "The Circle of Beer."
