I ordered the game, but I'll wait until January for the wireless guitar, drums, and mike (if I get the mike).

It's got some good songs.

Doesn't that mean that you need 2 other people to play it?

No idea--I'm hoping there's a mode where you can practice/play individual instruments. If not, I'll wait until January when I get the other instruments.

I may go see if anyone has a Wii Zapper yet. I thought they were all gay about releasing it exactly one year after the Wii.

You can play Rock Band single player song by song, like in Guitar Hero.

But you can't do the Band World Tour without coop, which means, in my opinion, missing out on the biggest purpose of the game. And it has to be local coop, too, no teaming up over Xbox Live.

It's okay, not everyone has talent to play in a band, even a virtual one.

I thought it was sort of stupid at first, too, but GH is fairly fucking cool. Never got into DDR, though.

I would play Rock Band but just for the vocals, since everything else is like imitation DDR with an overpriced controller.

Sean and I will be at Wal-Mart around 11 PM tonight. Some employee there told us that's an hour after they get their truck in.

Game of the year ffs

I refuse to buy another rhythm game until I'm at least passing fair at the real guitar I have.

i love the new strum bar but absolutely hate the new fret buttons

also you have to play the drums way too fucking loud to make them register

nem-x
posted 11-20-2007 11:05:11 AM
ok im liking the guitar more, just have to get used to the flush fret buttons

also the game is incredibly polished; except for the downloading new songs since you have to quit the game to get them

It only took a good 7 hours straight to unlock all the songs

The singer lip syncs to what they're singing and move around with the song, and the instrument players also play in time and in the correct place on the fret boards/drum set

This is the best game ever made.

Rocked from about 1 to 5 in the morning today. Ironically, our drummer was half an hour late.
