5. Finances kept my mom and I from exchanging gifts, but she said she couldn't bear not getting me anything, so she got me some aftershave. This was odd because I use an electric razor and don't use aftershave.
Considering my father never called to ask me what I wanted for Christmas (not that I had any money to buy him anything anyway) I don't expect anything from him.
I'll get gifts for the rest of my family (could only really afford to get gifts for the boys) when I get a job, if ever. My mom hit a pothole in my car and tore a chunk out of the front tire, so I told her the $85 I spent on a new tire was her Christmas present.
Christmas morning is at 2 PM, damnit.
- First Things First, a motivational/self-help book which, apparently, discusses forming and maintaining healthy relationships with other people, which came from my boss (wtf is THAT supposed to mean? 
).
- A book of crossword puzzles (which is awesome; I love those things)
Some of things I hope to get in the morning are:
- a new video card (an Nvidia GeForce 6800, probably)
- 512mb of shiny new RAM
- City of Villains
- a wastebasket (I really, really need a little one for my bedroom)
