-some less interesting clothing, which I'm really not entirely sure of
A book entitled "Weird Florida" which has lots of legends and odd touristy trap places listed... I've barely even glanced at it yet.
A set of coffee mugs from a killer potter back in NY (www.wizardofclay.com)

The cats got an annoying-ass toy too! It looks like a computer mouse, except it has green LED eyeballs, it rolls around erratically, and has this super-annoying high pitched voice. Oh, and it's motion activated. So far, the cats have reacted with either sheer terror or apathy. No middle ground whatsoever. I think it'll be under 2 weeks before one of us smashes it against the wall. Mom says the cats get annoying toys because I refuse to breed. Bish. *sniff*

After 'shift one' (presents from my immediate family, minus my dad, which comes tomorrow), I have:

A bunch of camping/outdoor gear.
Three new movies (T3 (ech), North by Northwest, and Falling Down).
Some new mugs.
Court papers (long story, suffice it to say my 'friend' thinks $300 of rent money can just disappear, despite me handing it to him in front of a witness...)

A Christmas of practicality, certainly. Not that I'm complaining, I didn't really want much this year.

The best gift -- getting to spend Christmas with my girlfriend -- she's here for two weeks before she returns to Sacramento for more Americorps fun.

I got other stuff too:

Gift from my grandpa and my parents -- I've been wanting to buy this stuff for awhile but haven't been able to convince myself to spend the money. Now it has been spent. I don't have to outlay such a huge amount now. this was a cool gift.

From my parents. I still need to track down Firefly, however.

My girlfriend bought these for me. The game looks hilarious.

My girlfriend's mom got this for me.

-Some much needed compressed air. My computar has inhaled quite a bit of dust, and really needs cleaning.

-Soul Calibur 3. My brother would've either got me SCIII or Dynasty Warriors 5, and as for beat-'em-ups, I already have Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows. Besides, SC has Chronicles of the Sword mode, which is pretty damn cool.

-Dog slippers! These things look awesome and are amazingly warm. I'm actually wearing them right now!

-Loads and loads of chocolate. I can probably stay up for a few days straight on my chocolate alone. Y'know what, I think I'm gonna have some more right now.

Also, some short story compilation I picked up, Legends II Shadows, Gods, and Demons has a short story with Shadow in it and what he is up to after American Gods. Also notes that there will be another novel with Shadow as the main char in the not too distant future.
