Hot. I can do pretty well on it, but I'm not the speedy player. More liking of the slow songs.

My best is AAing My Summer Love on Sudden and Dark Heavy.

Though I'm also very proud that I can ace Bag without speed modifiers.

Suddar
posted 07-24-2005 01:05:54 AM
I'm pretty much horrible on slow songs. Bag included. I can pretty much only do well on bag with 1.5x or higher.

Make It Better is probably my favorite slow song...or Make A Jam. Or Jam Jam Reggae. Those songs are 8) 8).

and I've passed every 10 at the arcade except PSMO and Legend of max, woo. Unless I'm forgetting one.

(PS, PSM, Max300, MaxxUnlimited, Sakura lol, Bag, and uhh yeah, I think that's all I've passed)

My proudest AA is probably Healing Vision (Angelic Mix) though. No fancy mods, but come on, it's HVAM.

TELEPHONE OPERATOR

Alright, here we go (in no real order):
Daikenkai
Love This Feeling (seriously, wtf is that shit)
Secret Rendez-vous
The Least 100 Seconds (it's elevator music, maybe it'll grow on me someday)
Butterfly (IIIIIIIEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIII)

Honorable mention:
L'amour et la liberte, because I suck so bad at it.

and haha Tsugaru was my first 9 AA.

I play Rhythm and Police waaaay too much...I'm totally sick of it...but I still play it 3-4 times a game...I'm so fixated -_-

and haha Tsugaru was my first 9 AA.

Stuff that's fast doesn't do me in, as long as they're all half notes or whatever. It's mostly the "follow the beat of the music" notes (yellow, IIRC) that totally, totally, totally screw me over. I just...don't get them.

Daikenkai pisses the shit out of me.

Least 100 Sec I like just because I'm a classical ho.

And how can you not like a song about lesbians?!! p.s. put it on training mode with the speed turned ALL THE WAY DOWN on Secret Rendezvous in DDRMAX (ps2 omg). It sounds like Satan singing about his gay lover. It's amazing. Silent Hill is also amazing.

Secret Rendezvous - Divas

(Baby, you know what?
I've been waiting a loooooooong time....)

Late at night when you're all alone (all alone)
Heart would say, pick up the phone (pick up the phone)
But he belongs to someone else
You wanna keep his number for yourself
You keep your feelings deep inside (deep inside)
The kind of love that's so hard to find (so hard to find)
Gotta keep it all for myself
Don't wanna share it with somebody else

Nobody knows what goes on when we are all alone
I know what I feel, it's oh so real

We are secret lovers
Hope no one discovers (no one discovers)
See you every day
Secret hideaway
Just around the way (Don't you know....)
Feels so good to me 'cause (...feels so good)
No one's ever seen us
What we have, taboo
A secret rendez-vous

(I'm in love, you feel good to me
Baby don'tcha know I need you
Don'tcha know I need your love so....)

Sneakin' with my baby (come to me baby)
Weekend, don't say maybe (please him day or night)
We throw away the key
It's our fantasy
Only you and me (I know you want me here)
I hope no one discovers
That we are undercover lovers
What we have, taboo
A secret rendez-vous, yeah

(Ohh ohh ohh ohh.....)

Also, if you didn't catch it. www.BlondeGirl is totally about cybersex. It's awesome.

Edit - oh shit you're right, it's not about lesbians! if anything it's about gay guys D= D= D=

Not Stepmania...I mean DDRMax, Isn't there a type two where normal notes are red, half notes are blue, weird notes are green and "match the music" notes are yellow? Or was that something I dreamed up?

What's the name of that song where the girl is moaning in the stupidest fashion? "Oh, baby, do it with me..." something something. I have something like 300 ddr songs on my computer, I can't remember them all.

Waka Laka is about some chick's vibrator, for sure.

I don't know about DDRMax and its crazy note skins. But if it's what I'm thinking of, those elusive "match-the-music" steps are 1/16s. They're basically twice as fast as the blue arrows. That's it. No special trick. Just move twice as fast.

I dunno. I'm not really fond of songs with a lot of words in them. My absolute favorite DDR songs are almost pure techno...psychotic bat-outta-hell-fast songs, but still. Damnit, I didn't like techno before DDR, and now I'm a total outcast among my friends because of it...

If you want to be really naughty, the song Insertion takes on a whole new meaning if you listen closely during the slowdown at the center of the song.

uhh, oh, oh, uhh THUMP THUMP THUMP

Waka Laka is the 2nd hardest 8 ever. Witch Doctor wins. (I guess Waka Laka is harder if you can't do jumps. DXY! has the same problem. It makes no sense to me that stoic, with the easiest skips out of the three, is the only one rated a 9.)

By the way, I used to think that 1/16s would always be too much for me, and look at me now! It just takes practice.

Are You Ready Do The Bus Stop - Club Disney Not too bad.
B4U - NAOKI Kick Ass.
Chim Chim Cher-ee - Domino eh.
D.D.D! - (Happy 65th Anniversary for Donald Duck) The Alfee feat. Donald Duck
Fire - Combined Pretty cool
HIGHER - NM feat. SUNNY Awesome mellow song
IT'S A SMALL WORLD - AbeatC All Stars eh, not a DDR song
IT'S A SMALL WORLD (Ducking Hardcore MIX) - Tomosuke/U1-Asami This is a cool mix.
Let the beat hit em! - Stone Bros. One of the best freestyle songs.
Let's Twist Again - Chubby Checker Do da twist!
Macho Duck - Domino hehehe
Mickey Mouse March (Eurobeat Version) - Domino ehhh...
Mickey Mouse March (SUMMERTIME EXTENDED Version) - Domino more ehhh...
Midnite Blaze - U1 Jewel Style bad ass
Mr. Bassman - John Entwistle this song is funny and awesome XD
MY SUMMER LOVE - MITSU-O! with GEILA A personal favorite.
Night Of Fire - Niko I would buy the mix just for this song.
Share My Love - Julie Frost argh
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious - Go Go Girls This is fun!
Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah - Domino Also pretty fun.

It's not a bad mix, really. It just aimed towards children and people who like upbeat music. I like most of it. And this is the U.S. Disney Mix. It's fairly rare, but not impossible to find.

Edit - I used to hate Insertion, but now it's not only easy, but awesome. I used to dislike songs I couldn't pass. Like Trip Machine. Took so long to master that. Survivor is
