AMAZING anime. By far my favorite Magical Girl anime. Not sure about the manga. Too poor to buy it. Probably just as good.

I have the series myself but as of yet haven't watched much of it due to other issues.
I blame a couple of guys from AKon and 4Kids for making me acquire the series. They said it was good, and 4Kids fucked it up so badly that I went and tracked down subtitled copies. 4Kids should be shot in the nuts for what they did to that series.
The only thing that would scare me worse would be a 4Kids MKR. 
That's where I got mine and I was pretty happy with it.
Subtitles are a little wonky every once and a while, but nothing too bad. Except in the 2nd movie. Them's real bad. Not a big loss though.
I think they still do the free shipping for purchases over 100 dollars too, so just tack on another single DVD or a wallscroll or something and make it real cheap for yourself.

My friend's sister is absolutely obsessed with it, she has every tape and has bought every accessory based on it available on the American market. The other day when I was in a Chinese import store, I bought a book from the manga all in Mandarin just to impress her 
I've seen maybe the first 5 or 6 episodes, it's semi-repetitive but offers enough to make each episode worth watching. The one about the Woody card was good. The progression is better than InuYasha episodes 30-113, at least.

4Kids would be more likely to abuse that however given that they "tone down" things because they're "children's shows".

Grudge? Nah. Enjoy laughing at them over some horrible HACK JOBS of translation and importing? Oh yeah. Being fair however they've been doing it longer than ADV, Manga, Funimation, etc have so I'm probably not being too fair about it...
