If it is on a weekend, I will take the bus down from school, if not, I'm screwed.

I was thinking the same. Fortunately, the 19th is a Saturday.

I got an e-mail on that. I'd really like to go with Deth. We both love Final Fantasy music.

I'll need to request that off at work since I usually work Saturday, but I'm pretty positive I'm game.

What's it run, anyway? Costwise.

Oh, and where is Rosemont, IL exactly? Mapquest has a Cook one and St Clair. Both are about 3 hours drive from Indy.

Ticket Master page

$33-$125(VIP) Though VIP tickets get to meet Nobuo.

And this Rosemont is....North of Chicago I believe. Right near O'Hare Airport.

Rosemont Convention center is within like 15 minutes of O'Hare Airport I believe. I don't know about the theatre though. Assuming it'll be pretty close to that. Taxis and buses are all around the place over there, so travel shouldn't be TOO much of a problem from O'Hare.

According to my dad shouldn't be too bad on a Saturday. Just take I-294 to Rosemont. That is right at the INdiana border pretty much, so minimal highway jumping.

Chicago sucks to drive in. Period.

I don't think I've ever been down there with my mom and she hasn't come back irritated. I refuse to go down there until I have waaaaaayyyy more practice driving.

It sucks, and even driving the suburbs around it sucks. I used to live in Naperville and had to drive north for work. I can't remember the suburb now. But I hated it.

After I worked there, I worked in Downer's Grove and it was less a pain to get there, but I still hated it. And God help me if I had to try to make my way through the mess to actually get downtown.

I'm so glad I don't have to put up with that anymore. Indy has two "big" roads, with others coming in here and there. That's it. I love it.

Chicago's kind of a mess. I wouldn't be surprised to hear about new traffic projects for it in the near future, though I don't know what exactly they would do.

The only thing Chicago has that I wish Indy did are those express lanes. I have a rather long stretch of road on 465 before I exit. One of those would be a godsend, although a pain to get back into traffic for your exit, I'm sure.

There is going to be a huge overhaul starting next spring I think on the Tollway system. NOw that all non-Ipass drivers will pay double, they are making the toll points so the non-Ipass users take a mini-offramp to toll booths and everyone else flys through the toll at 75 or whatever traffic may be moving at with no stopping. And some major ones are getting extra lanes thrown on.

Yes, but do you have to pay a machine two dollars everytime you miss an exit and have to double-back?

Zair and I are in, I'm going to try to get a space heater, lawn chairs, mini-grill, and bring my tv/games to have a tailgating party beforehand.

Kind of depends if it's snowing, but if it's decent the space heater and grill will keep us all right I think.

Please say you're going to dress up at least? There was some bad press about people who went in shorts to the last concert. Need people to actually treat these like orchestra concerts so we get more.

The thing about Atlanta is that 8 lanes of traffic stands still for hours at a time without any sort of accident or real reason to account for it. Every day.
