It's a fairy tale setting, and I already have some ideas, but I want more.

So I figured I would offer the opportunity. I'll make sure you get a log of the session your villain is in.

I figure it's the next best thing to having you in the game.

Hmmmm. The main commander under my main villain perhaps. The one that carries out all his most important assignments.

I wanna be sort of narcissistic, always striving for power because I beleive I'm the only one who deserves it. Majestic and terrible, or at least I think/try to make myself like that. That would rule

That vanity will, of course, be the downfall of your character, but she'll be high up in the ranking on the villain side, and be able to cause much havoc before she's finally defeated.

Ever read in fairy tales, like the Golden Goose, about the little gnomish guy sitting in the forest, and the two older brothers are mean to him? They're punished. It's always the youngest that comes and is nice and is rewarded.

The eventual goal is to replace natural life with widespread undeath. All the research is working towards that.

The character would also use misdirection and outright deception whenever possible, such as modifying his minions to resemble himself and confuse enemies.

If your story doesn't have undead ( ) then it could be modified to another dark creature.

There's an ostrich race in the Legends and Lairs: Mystic Races book. They'll be a race of cowards, and like to stick their heads in the sand when the next kingdom is going to take over their lands.

Their ruler will be a wizard in green robes. The picture is very bow-legged. Of course they'll be for comedic effect, since the wizard's spells will just keep backfiring back onto itself.

Should it be a male or female, do you think?

See Final Fantasy the movie's general guy (Cant remember his name right now) who kept wanting to fire the bigarse cannon, even though people told him it wouldnt work for an example.
But uh.. Less "Omg lets release monstars!!!)!!" and more "Lets go out and KILL monsters with a billion troops, even though everyone BUT me will die!" kinda thing.

I'd like to be some sort of evil goblin leader who's a bit crazy and plans for world domination, but isn't very good at it.

what i was thinking was like, somebody who starts out working under the main villian guy because he lied to her/him (it honestly doesn't matter to me), thinking it'd just be a bit of fun. when they learn the true plans, work against them and watch over the party (or whatever), but only makes themselves known when they have to, and still playing the occasional lighthearted prank.
