This weekend, my friend tim came over, and let me play a lil DAoC....
Well, now, I like the DAoC, as the DAoC is better than the EQ.
heres why:
1. My Paladin will not be a weenie
2. My backstabber will look like a backstabber and not what every warrior looks like but in black
3. you can solo
4. see three
5. it looks sexah
let the flames begin anew...
EQ is still more fun for some god forsaken reason.

2. the race for bsers is pretty exclusive, thus they all look like bsers, while in EQ you have a 7 foot tall barbarian pretending to be stealthy *rolls eyes* and who said I'd go with black? scarlet pimpernickel (pun intended) baby
3. better to have to group at 40 then to have to group at 15

My warrior solos, slowly. I can see him solo to mid 30's, before it becomes horrificly slow.

Druids can solo up to L60, naked.

I could squeeze more content out of a blister then verant could counter with gameplay, both a comment on how easy content is to make, and how much better daoc is than eq

Oh I fully agree. Check out the title yo, I do think DAoC is better made than EQ, I'm just waiting for it to ripen a bit.
I believe I said before that all the new content in EQ is just more layers over a foundation that really wasn't that great to begin with. DAoC is a better foundation, I'm just waiting for the layers.

Dude! I SO have DAoC already! All I need to do is reactivate the account
Thing is, I don't like being unable to jump in cities or anywhere that isn't flat on the ground, I don't like the lack of variety in mobs, I don't like the lack of variety in equipment, and I don't like how small the land area in each realm is.

Sounds a great deal like a certain other game. Actually each class in DAoC has a much wider range of spells and abilities than was available in EQ, depending on class choices and how you spend your spec points. About the only thing EQ has that it lacks is summon item spells and ports, while on the other hand, it has horses for quicker, safer conyeyance for a pittance of cash...
I believe someone here stated it before. DAoC has what EQ lacks but lacks some of what EQ has.
