Problem is, this means I would have to buy new copies of all the software, even though I have it already. I'd love to get another account, but not if it means shelling out another 80 bucks plus monthly, to be able to go over the world wherever I want to.

You want 2 copies of everquest, ya pay for 2 copies. If verant sold just CDkeys, they wouldnt make nearly the money they need. Alot of the money made in games, MMORPG or otherwise, comes from the software sales.

UO had it right for a while. If you had a current active account that was in good standing, you could purchase a second CD key from them over the phone. That was great

No, there's a difference.
People actually still play EQ - therefore they don't lose money if they don't sell CD Keys because they know people will still go out and buy the games.
If Funcom wants to make ANY money, they will sell CD Keys, because people WON'T just go out and buy a copy of AO anymore - hence the free month.

It's hardly cheating. It's just making it so that you do not have to go through any of the toil and pain of finding a compitant group to gain experience with, thus taking away the downtim.....wait...I guess that would be cheating huh?

So no, I don't group up with other people much... And yes, I really can run 3 accounts at the same time and not kill any of them (warrior, chanter, druid being one combo, 2 beastlords and a shaman being another... too many to list here)

Running a shaman and monk at the same time was enough of a challenge for me. Can't imagine doing more
One upfront tank with healer/nuker/debuffer/buffer support can take most XP mobs in game. And in raids, jobs are very specific and easy to accomplish.
Make sure you arent tank heavy or caster heavy when doing such a thing, then it becomes far too intense and requires alot of concentration.

There was a guy in my old guild on the Rathe that had a 55+ Enchanter, Cleric, Shadow Knight, and Magician he played all at once.
One day I was playing my friend's Monk while he was on vacation and getting parts of his epic. I saw the guy was in Skyfire and went over to talk to him while I was waiting for a book to drop.

It does say in the EULA an account can only be used by one person. Never heard of anyone getting banned for it, but it is technically a violation.

Hmm I donlt think they will ban you for it unless you have a security breech that you report. IE: all your items come up missing and you petition it. Even then I have never personally seen anyone suspended in your situation. Now people that give account info to Guildies and such. that is different. Rowyl may be able to better answer you. Or ban you. Depending on his mood I guess

Well, I have 5 characters, and I want to be able to play any combination of them at the same time. I use my Druid to power my others, and when they are all high level I will use whatever 2-3 are needed most for the given situation. They need to be on seperate account to play at the same time (obviously).
The 2 work accounts are for testing.
Maybe I'll wait until Luclin costs 10 bucks apeice or something, then go for it and the trilogy. I still say I should be able to have multiple accounts on one CD KEY as long as they're also on the same Credit Card (Thus effectively limiting pirates, while still letting VI get their ca$h).
