No, it has nothing to do with the game, I love the game, but it's become more like a job and I finally realised it had taken completely over my life. That's not good. That's not healthy. It's cold turkey time.
Recent guild drama pushed me over the edge. I joined SWG to have fun not for a daily soap opera. For those EC players in AV, please don't worry or panic, I've left my character intact and in the hands of Scoricco. The guild is fine, the city is fine.
I'm free.
I take a few days off from SWG due to a comibination of a new game and burnout, and this happens. I don't even know what yet, but I imagine I will...

I'm done with MMORPG's unless the Star Trek one is as ungodly awesome as it promises to be (unlikely since they never are).
Might, if you quit AV I will take your Optimus Prime and beat you with it. [EDIT: Because you still have so much more to see. I'd done everything, I was bored as hell.] Mortious fucked around with this message on 09-05-2005 at 03:09 AM.

What I meant was, "I imagine I'll find out what the guild drama is/was soon enough."
Just haven't been terribly motivated to play while robe regen was messed up... then I got a new game for my 'Cube which has sucked me in. A hint: It's all Kennatsu's fault.
Anyway, I've no plans to leave SWG anytime soon. Just taking a break.

Much like EQ it will pull you back a time or 2 before you're finally "gone".

Waitaminute... it wouldn't have anything to do with growing vegetables, milking cows, brushing horses, shearing sheep, killing useless goats, and finding a husband for your main character, is it?
Well, I'm burnt out of crafting for a while. I didn't join SWG so I could see and do everything. It was because I think it's fun. And thanks to Mort I saw just how much fun I could actually have in that game.
It's fun to be useful to a large group of people, and I have yet to realize Keina's dream of having the #1 name in the galaxy among trader circles. But that will wait...
I've been so preoccupied with space mining. Sure it's a long, boring process. But for some odd reason I can't seem to stop myself. Maybe it's because all the credits I've been earning lately are from that unofficial profession (how does 100cpu for carbonaceous or petrochemical asteroid units sound?)
As for Kavol, I'm pretty sure he has yet to become an Imperial Ace pilot. Kennatsu fucked around with this message on 09-05-2005 at 05:23 AM.

Dunno, I have been takeing a break, I logged in and seen alot of people gone. And as of late, I log in and there seems to be no one on. Good chance i will not renew in Sept. I have been really unhappy with the direction the game has been takeing.
...Dossik will miss Mortious.

Things started to go downhill for me when Gracen and Kirian left. Seemed to just kill the whole guild I felt. I logged on and hardly anyone was around.
I haven't been playing much of anything lately because of school. Get into EQ2 and finish a quest or two once homework's done and such.
I will pop into SWG now and then, but it's lost a lot of the fun for me, and I'm still a newb :/

That leaves me with people like Bans most of the time, though. BANS!

Yes, darn you. But I haven't gotten any sheep or goats. It appears I wasted many days in game not knowing the fact that new cows must give birth before they give milk...
As for the AV grouping situation; I could usually get a group with the other Jedi like Scry, and Varun, other members likes Myyti, Naeni (no relation), etc... but it's the helpless people who can't be bothered to look up quest information much less the rules of grammar that annoy me. Or even if they DO find the info (or are told), they want you to plan ahead to help then with the quest, since it involves high level mobs and they can't be arsed to get their CL above 52.
I already did the vehicular control quest once, thank you very much.

Neani is still in AV? I know I could have sworn I saw Denoine's removal email.
--Personally the people that were nice to group with were the ones that left. I was mostly happy pure crafter, but after the CU and ROTW, everything seemed to focus on combat. I mean, shit a pure crafter gets noting out of ROTW, 'cept maybe space mining, and that sucks major balls. And as for Space, The lack of PVP makes it pretty danmed boring, if I wanted to battle it out with bots I would boot up XWA. Out side of helping with someone else with missions, I think I might have gone into space like 3-4 times after getting master.
I figured to switch to combat and Jedi might make the game interesting again, Be able to do the quests and such. Wrong, it's one big, boring ass grind, if I am going to do that, I will just switch to WoW, CoH or hell AO. Even sponging the EXP is slow and really disliked doing that, I hate being grouped and not being useful.

Tomorrow I'm supposed to hear about a new job providing my background check is on the up and up. That would mean better hours for family and for gaming. (8 am to 5pm instead of sucky 12:30pm to 9pm I have right now) I'm going back to being a mechanic working for Expert Tire in Duluth (Expert Tire's parent company is Bridgestone/Firestone)
I'd hoped that the 12:30 to 9 job wouldn't have sucked the life out of me as much as it had. I was hoping I could have helped take some of the weight off once you made me Section Leader but that job I've got at Cellular One just bites...

That goes very well with your sigpic.
Wait 'till CoV comes out. Then, half the people left in your city will leave to play it for a while. Quit while they're gone, and by the time they come back everything will have gone to crap while everyone was gone, and there won't be anything to come back to.

Replace Ranger with Monk and that pretty much applies to me as well. In addition to some other things.
